Here is my review (with minor spoilers!) of Rootless by Krystle Zara Appiah!
Some major themes were:
• postpartum depression
• challenges of motherhood
• challenges of marriage
• discovery of self
• strained parent/child relationship
• love & sacrifice
and there's so much more!
Overall, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED this book: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The story draws you in from the very first page and you cannot help but feel sorry for AND wholeheartedly root for the main characters in the book. The author touches on tough topics so thoroughly and effortlessly. Everyone needs to read this book!
