If I wasn't saving my Steam money for Fields of Mistria, I would get Ova Magica when it came to early access next month lol. As it stands, I do want to get the game while it is in EA, I just don't know when. More likely it'll be closer to the holidays because I always get a gift cards for Christmas and my Bday. The Berlin one sounds interesting. Anything that relates to any place of my ancestry always does. It's actually one reason why I love the aesthetics of Ova Magica, the creator is German and based the setting on her hometown lol. But yeah, I might check that one out. My own family did live in Berlin too while the Wall was still up. I don't really remember since I was a baby at the time (and one of my brothers was born there too). Even though Berlin technically was still in East Germany (the area the Soviets controlled), much like the country, the capital was divided between the Soviets, British, French, and Americans. We lived in the American sector near the wall.
There's no rush in getting new games especially if you're on a budget. And I totally understand the hardship of having to choose which one to purchase first since both games look so good. 😊 And it's so cool to find games that connect to you in some way like how they relate to a place of your ancestry. It's really nice to hear about others' perspectives on this and thank you for sharing some Berlin facts. 🤩
