Putting up some lively performances there. The Empress is a sort of LMS/GWR hybrid or what Stanier might have produced if he'd stayed at Swindon - a GWR Princess Royal, or an improved King with outside valve gear
Not that long, but i've been told there are plans to expand it in future, things i've heard meantioned were a return loop at the far end and a run around loop with turntable at the main station area
Love the look of "the Empress" looks big and powerful !...shame it was spoiled a bit by having to run together with that totally hideous Hastings...thing.
@@thomasm1964 Yh...maybe I was a bit harsh...ugly is probably a more fair statement lol...tbf at least its an actual steam loco, most of the other locos they have at hasting are either a big blue box on wheels or stupid looking pretend steam things called "cornish pixie" and "Falcon" and tbh i can't decide which one is worse...
