This is probably the best one dollar concert ever! Rory and band really delivered all the goods that night. With a complete performance finishing with the show stopper Bullfrog Blues, he comes back with a sublime rendition of his Livin' Like a Trucker for an encore. I've heard this show many times but none accompanied by such a dazzling array of photos (some obscure to the point that I don't know who or what I'm looking at) making an already fabulous show even more so. Thanks for the hard work DK, I don't know how I missed this for a year plus but I'm very glad to have finally seen this fine posting. Like 89, C20, V2380. /:-)
ESTE ES UN SHOW IMPECABLE DEL GRAN RORY GALLAGHER, UNO DE LOS MAS O MEJOR DICHO EL MAS VIRTUOSO DE LOS ROCKEROS! TENGO LA MAS GRANDE ADMIRACION POR EL, POR SIEMPRE Y GRACIAS POR TANTA BUENA MUSICA
@@butterflykisses9185 I met Rory after a gig in 1981. Noticed then that he was a very handsome man. Since then, I haven't seen a photo that captured the man I met because he had something else special about him too. Not only was he a gentleman. His manners were impeccable. He even stood up, in the presence of ladies when his bro entered the room but what I thought at the time, was that Rory was angelic and his music was integrated into his very soul. Even so, don't think he was truly aware of all his gifts. Rory was an extremely happy individual, with that in mind, he teased me to death. The venue was deserted so my relative and I and Rory and Donal hung out. Rory was quite shy so he mostly communicated with me through body language. After our eyes met he jumped out of his skin. Then he walked over, said "Hello " and stood beside me. Even Donal was shocked !! So Yes, Rory was one of the most beautiful men I have ever encountered, undoubtedly, physically stunning too. Until recently my memories of meeting Rory were almost lost. In 2020, I was reminded. I started writing about something else and then I found Rory again. Even though my story is not entirely about Rory, I have dedicated a huge part of my account of him in my book. Did I ask Donal's permission to proceed? Following that, Donal and his sons wished me luck and in doing so, they recognised that my account is part of his history and should be told. One night after a concert, I found myself embraced in the brother's world, so, I hope to capture an innocent and precious and up close memory of the G-Man, the likes of which I have not found anywhere. Nowadays, I am no one of importance nor have I ever been such, so this is a huge deal for me. Notwithstanding, as my story evolves, truly aware that forces beyond me are at work here, even though the prospect of publishing a book is a terrifying prospect that will indeed change my life forever. I am still confident that it was meant to be, so I will not find inner peace until I have completed my quest and launched my story into the world.
@@wilhelmschroder9729 It’s because it was the medicine they were treating him with for liver problems and the meds caused his liver to shut down with the pneumonia to. I heard that in a interview. I actually saved it in my playlist in interviews but that’s whre I heard it.
