Dean is actually a really good husband, boyfriend, and person in general. He treated Rory very nicely and even backed off on her when she was too shy to admit her feelings. Dean was the boyfriend that's too good to be true. I admit that he obsessed over Rory a lot and they fought a few times, but just because they didn't last, it doesn't mean the relationship wasn't great overall. Dean only started having issues after Rory emotionally cheated on him and gaslighted him. That messed him up for life. Dean had a VALID reason to be mad and suspicious and he literally married Lindsey to cope with his feelings. If the roles were reversed, dean would be hated way more and called a womanizer. And we can see in the revival that after dean and Rory had closure, dean managed to build a healthy relationship. Jess and Rory had a lot of chemistry and I feel like she could truly be herself around him and they had a lot in common. I'm happy Jess took time off and became successful, but I truly believe they were soulmates and just had communication issues. Logan is a pretty fun guy but I feel like half of his character is his money. If we take out all of the grand gestures he's done we pretty much see a spoiled rich boy. I give Logan credit for always being there to support Rory and he did a lot of things nicely considering it was his first relationship. Logan was maturing into a fine man and I think him and Rory had a lot of potential to be a married power couple, but it didn't work out because of Rory's pride. I don't understand their relationship, but it seems pretty mature. I just can't get behind Logan's values, they are way too snotty. He hates the rich, but still acts and spends like them.

now i realized that i am definitely team jess, since dean can't be with rory... he's married and with kids. logan is engaged, he's probably in love with rory but in AYITL was almost going to get married. and jess, is the only one that has a chance to be with her

Here’s why I’m team Logan Dean was great at first but became so needy and whiney and made Rory his whole life which is too far, he also cheated on his wife Jess is one of my fav characters and his relationship with Luke is incredible and his arc is the best but he and Rory never had the right timing and I also feel like he needs more life experience away from the few places he’s been, he’s also her step cousin now Logan, he is an amazing character with a good arc. He makes mistakes but they all do. He has had the most experience in life and he’s been with a lot of people and seen so many places, with him it felt like he was truly ready for a serious relationship. He was with Rory for the longest and they challenged each other in great ways, a lot of people blame Rory going bad on him but it wasn’t his fault it was the pressure she put herself under. Also it’s pretty obvious he’s the father to the baby

She only actually cried really badly for Logan bc he wouldn’t call or anything he only cried for dean bc of a break up
