That’s how I was taught when I was a kid. I was told to think pendulum swing. It works well I think.

I have always loved this technique. Kind of a V shape long putting stroke. Sometimes I blade the ball but I have seen so many other techniques that require too much manipulation. This is simple and effective . Thanks RM!

Brilliant chipper but I had a laugh at the number of divots near where he was playing from. That was after Rory saying he doesn’t take a divot on these shots. Maybe they weren’t Rory’s.

That’s how he hits his drives too. Just rock the shoulders and keep it simple. Boom 320 yard averages.

I like how he says just moves his shoulders. Then when you watch him swing. He has wrist hinge. Only small amount. But he does have it. They always leave the little secrets out don't they

Yeah they always treat people like idiots... This was soft landing shot, not bump and run so he has to really get under it and release that club early on to increase loft. Just look at impact his head, wrist and clubhead are inline. Most amateurs cant do this shot, they can do the swing motion but a bump and run version thats just replica of their normal swing where you deloft the club and hands are in front of the club head at impact.
