Y'all, I had a gig at a student rec center that was maybe a tenth the size of this space, and I felt like I was performing all alone in a field - this is impossible work, and people are cracking up. Incredible skill.
Right before he went on he asked me “hey whats the range of this wireless mic?” I didnt know(we were borrowing it from the venue-not our usual wired mic) and was annoyed at the question. I assumed he was going to walk into the front rows for crowd work goofing around, but then he takes it all over the hotel on different floors, in the elevator,etc. That never would have occurred to me in a million years,but for him it was the natural thing to do with a wireless mic. GENIUS!
