hay just got into ROS and on a wim i googled if to is if this is possible and here we are. its people like you that make the internet the great place it can be. thank you very much for the video!

Nice work! Is there an input lag using the method? And is the communication encrypted?

Thanks! The input lag is actually quite low. In order to use the Gamepad API & Polyfill (for BabylonJS), it needs to be over an SSL connection. However, I wouldn't consider this secure at all - it uses a self signed certificate so you need to accept the unsafe SSL certificate AND there's no User authentication; so anyone can control your robot... I had planned on doing a follow on for this - there are mitigations and opportunities here.
