Cine Gear 2023 - Rosco DMG LION is a new, powerful LED fresnel light prototype featuring a large body with a built-in power supply, swappable LED engines (bi-color or full-color), motorized flood to spot between 70° and 15°, and M18 accessory mount. The light should be available early next year for $8,000.

5K tungsten equivalent on house power. The future is amazing. This is the light Mole SHOULD have built. I hope they sell thousands of these. What a fantastic concept.

Okay the thought put into this is amazing, seems like a really professional light that will last a lifetime, I love the interchangeable array & the price is too high for a lot of people but rental houses will love this, I really wanna try one out!

Probably an appropriate price. Ingenious solution - switching the lamp! Love it. Looks heavy haha. But nice that it is all in one. The connectivity is amazing also, and the variance in beam angle is impressive. Would love to see some just pure daylight or tungsten for even more power. Basically same price as the Mole 5k equivalent LED but more features and the ability to switch the lamp. Wondering why it is 1500 watts for a 5k equivalent (as mole is 900 watts for 5k equivalent if I remember correctly). Perhaps I’m missing something here! Hope to learn more! Looking forward to seeing the light quality also

Thanks for the notes. We are still working on the fixture. The 1500 watts will be the maximum power draw. We're saying 1,500 watts maximum now so that people know they'll be able to plug it into mains power when it's available.

@@rosco_labs gotcha. well - im excited for this one. seems like the right direction... quality fresnel units seem to have been *relatively* forgotten in the LED revolution.
