Thanks Tamara such a great medley of music for Rose and Giovanni's performances. I am 76 years old and sat and watched their dances each week alongside the woman I fell in love with in 1963! My girl (Gill) has so many of those enchanting qualities Rose showed to us all....I love her still. Amazingly Gill was deafened by Bi Lateral Meniere's Disease and we learnt BSL to talk to one another. Later she was fitted with a cochlear implant and now has electronic digital hearing and was able to hear music again...wonderful...thanks to great surgeons and hospital teams of the NHS.....How the country must have fallen in love with Rose (Giovanni had to walk away!!!). They have done so much for Deaf Awareness.Thanks again Tamara...an enchanting reminder of days in the 1960s when Gill and I strolled around London hand in hand before marrying and settling down and having our lovely children. Gill and I enjoyed Rose and Giovanni's dances so much and how they taught each other so much. Magical.

I have been waiting for this since 2015. He really should have won then. And in 2017. Maybe even 2018. But with each year, with esch spectacular partner... Seeing the effect his relationship with her has had on him... I am truly glad it was Rose who won with him in the end.
The other years, he formed his hearing celebrities into technically perfect partners. But that didn't gave the win. With Rose, who baffled him with her mindset, her capacity to hear, feel and trust him, they became an osmosis of dance. Thank you for this video. I return to watch it every month!

She definitely was. I was listening to the podcast he did with Janette and Aljaz a couple of weeks ago and that line jumped out at me. And to think that he had no idea then just how amazing 'lucky number seven' would be.

She was indeed his lucky number seven. I dont think either realise just how much they achieved in their couples choice dance. It wouldnt have been possible one without the other. This will follow them throughout their lives. Forever Rose and Giovanni. They go together like peaches and cream, Rogers and astaire.....💞💞💞💞💞💞
I agree totally. I sent them a good luck banner for the final (last year) with a wee letter saying, well basically I don’t think Giovanni will ever win Strictly again, he’ll never be able to connect with anyone like Rose, to be able to teach anyone to dance. I don’t think it’s anything to do with “losing his strictly sparkle.” He might do strictly again in 23 & 24, who knows what partners he’ll have post Ritchie. They obviously keep their relationship/friendship private (and rightly so). They’ve got to be as close as Gemma & Gorka are. And what I like about G&G, she supports his dance trainees a lot, their bond is so unbreakable that no “strictly curse” (or whatever you call it) will break that. I really must stop rambling on now. 😮

These two made this the best series of Strictly for me, and I'm sure for others, too. They were perfect together. And I don't know about Rose, but I feel in love with Giovanni. You could see the love in his eyes. He was brilliant with Rose. Best couple ever, in my humble opinion.
These two incredible human beings bring alive the meaning of wonderment joy and sheer happiness to all who have watched, something that can only be described as the Miracle of discovery of true love between two of God's souls.
I have watched strictly from the start and i have always thought that giovanni is the a great dancer and teacher and he is always kind to all his partners but i have never see him look the way he did when dancing with rose i know there is a certain amount of acting when dancing to show the emotions but this was not just a show you could clearly see a true connection and feelins of love between them both a bond that was deeper than just dancing partners i think this is a friendahip that will last forever and as rose said he has a piece of her heart and giovanni saud rose is the best thing that has ever happened in his life and i believe they meant that ❤ these two brought me to tears on so many occasions ❤
This is so exquisitely beautiful,I shall be watching it every day -the journey Rose and Giovanni have taken over the past twelve weeks has been emotionally overwhelming and several times has brought me to tears but the sheer beauty of their dancing coupled with the total look of love will never be forgotten.Rose ,with all her artistic poise looks as if she has been dancing all her life and I absolutely loved her contentment sound at the end of the show dance as she embraced Giovanni who had previously had his hand on his heart.Great story -surely enough for a lovely film.
Beautiful video and music detailing their Strictly journey from start to finish - except I hope this is not the end for this lovely couple. Their love for each other is plain to see - it looks like by about Week 4 Giovanni had gone hook, line and sinker for Rose. It seems everyone but them can see how great they are together - by the end of the video they both look totally smitten. Hope this proves to be the case and they do something about it. For now, watching the video will have to do. 💕💕💕💕💕
A year on they keep saying they’re just the best of friends, I find this dubious although Rose only split from her partner of 7 years. No doubt on Rose and Gio have spoke about this and they’re giving themselves some time. Remember Gio has only been out with Tasha from love Island briefly, but Rose was still with Sam. Once they split up she went straight to scicilly to be with him xxx💜💜💜🌹🌹🌹🌹
Would anyone else like to see them re-enact some of the old Fred and Ginger numbers? Perhaps as a short TV series with other dance genres and then a tour to follow? Rose and Giovanni would be perfect for something this!
You used their song.🥰😢When they played 'Together in Electric Dreams' for their "last dance" after being crowned champions, I was an emotional wreck. It's the story of them. Great choice & a fantastic tribute to this unforgettable couple.

That the way it should be getting to know all about you she made him think about both of them the story they told while danceing was magic never before have we seen anything like it or will we ever see it again for someone who is deaf and I am one of those people love can only come from the 💓 bless you both but never lose your sparkle.
I really started on a strong series, last year was my first (2021, so Rose and Giovanni’s year). I fell in love, with Rose, with Gio, with Strictly in general. They were amazing, and this year, I went back again. It gave me the same feeling of happiness it did last year, it’s amazing, I wish I started watching sooner.
