Казармы Rose Barracks были построены нацистским режимом в 1930-х годах как "казармы Гинденбурга" вермахта, а после Второй мировой войны - США. Армия переняла казармы. С момента ухода армии США в 2008 году здесь был построен Гевербепарк General Rose
Die Rose Barracks wurden vom Nazi-Regime in den 1930er Jahren als "Hindenburg-Kaserne" der Wehrmacht gebaut, und nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg von der U.S. Army übernommen. Seit dem Abzug der US-Army 2008 entsteht hier der Gewerbepark General Rose

I worked for US Army Finance💲in the distant building at 00:40 & 00:50. Finance was upstairs & Personnel was downstairs. I loved my army job, Bad Kreuznach (BK), and my 5 years in Germany. ♥ Danke for posting this, Walter! 😀

Sad to see Minick Kaserne gone on Google Earth. Great video of Rose Barracks. I miss Germany. Class of 91 to 93. Dexhiem also.

I'm glad they saved the clock tower. Worked in 8th. Division Band 1966-68.

If you pulled gate guard during that time period then we have probably seen each other in real life. I was an M.P. and passed through that gate a dozen times a day. LOL

I worked in Finance at Rose for two years, '89-'91. Three of us lived in the Discom barracks down the street. I loved it there! We were exempt from duty. I remember 8th Signal Bn. They had about 1,200 soldiers. Almost everyone knew me because of my job in customer service. My name was Sgt Doug Couchot. 💲💲💲

Lived in the Barracks just to the left as you went into the main gate. 8th MP Co. Was there from 1985-1988. Motor pool was across the street. We used to rotate duty at the headquarters building sitting at the post in the entrance. We'd also raise and lower the flag everyday. Class As, painted Helmet liners. Listening for the crackle of the speaker, knowing the music was about to start. Great Memories....
