The score really wasn’t a good representation of how this game went. Notre Dame was getting bullied the whole game but it looks like it was close if you just see the score.

I wanna talk about Mac Jones. At the start of the season I really wasn't to excited about him being the starter under center. I thought he'd be another game manager type quarterback who would rely heavily on the run game while throwing short passes and taking of the football. He has really surprised me a lot this year with the way he's played. He been amazing and I know he's going to have a great career as a NFL quarterback.

Another over-hyped, undeserving Notre Dame team getting humiliated, disemboweled, and devoured by the dynasty to end all dynasties: The University of Alabama Crimson Tide. Only the 2012 season National Championship game was even better than this one. What's tough is that ND didn't play badly in this one. They actually have gotten better, personnel wise. Everywhere. But with a truly lethal college-game weapon like Smith on the outside and Harris on the inside, it makes life very hard. Opens things for everyone else too. Jones is not remarkable. He's good and with all the time in the world to throw it to receivers running 5-10 and more yards wide open, that's waaaay more than enough.

The real question is, why ND are in the playoffs they always get blowout lmao 😂

They'll have to be a lot better against Ohio state to win. 3rd quarter lull almost got them beat against Florida. Only reason notre Dame couldn't take advantage of that same lull is because they just aren't good offensively at all. Ohio Stste can score at will. Bama will have to score every time they have possession. If they get a chance to slow the game down and run clock and keep fields and his offense on the sideline, they need to do it. Their defense isn't capable of stopping above average quarterbacks. If Corral and Trask boatraced that defense, then Justin Fields will too with great ease. If Bama has another scoreless third quarter or scores only 10 points in the second half, they will lose. The "saving the game plan" excuse is invalid. Ohio State has 12 films now to study. Bama didn't purposely shut it down, they failed to execute in the second half again. If that happens again? OSU wins.

Alabama offense has way more firepower than Clemson and Ohio State will not be able to stop that offense!!!! They also took their foot off the gas against Notre Dame so Ohio State will not have much to look at when they prepare for them but Bama will see that OSU threw a lot over the top of Clemson defense for touchdowns so they will play Cover 2 with a corner and safety to shut that down and they also completed about 20 passes 0-19 yds down the field meaning the linebackers will have to protect that zone by dropping in the right coverages to help out the defensive backs which they will practice all week and Alabama center will have to video study OSU blitz packages and call them out to protect Mac Jones because Clemson couldn't stop it. Ohio State showed everything in their arsenal because they didn't let off the gas like Bama did and play conservative and now Bama will shut those things down and take it away and destroy them !
