The Wrigley family donated their mansion to the city of Pasadena with the provision that it house the Rose Parade headquarters. Here's an inside look at the parade's nerve center and history museum: abc7.com/wrigl...
Oh my gaud! I still remember camping out all night to get the best area to put our chairs to watch the Rose Parade. We did this for years with one of our closest family and friends. It was such an exciting time. Everyone around you was so friendly. But that was back in the 1950's and 60's.
Although I've lived in the Los Angeles area, I've only actually watched this parade once in person. My advice: DON'T! You go the night before and "sleep" on the sidewalk, in VERY cold temps with hundreds of people milling around, stepping over you all night! You wake the next morning (if you slept at all) dirty, disheveled, wanting to brush your teeth but you can't because you are now socked into your 3 sq feet of sidewalk as the entire street is wall-to-wall people! You will barely able to see any of the parade at all. STAY HOME AND WATCH IT ON TV!
It SHOULD be University of Washington Huskies (13-0) v. University of Michigan Wolverines (13-0) @ the Rose 🌹 Bowl 🏈🏟️ for the AP National Title . The PAC will be back ... EVENTUALLY... NO Way in HELL🔥 do UCLA , UC BERKELEY, Stanford, Oregon, and U of Washington belong to any Conference East of the Rockies ⛰️🌄🏔️🏞️🗻 !!!
