What a treat!!! As wonderful as Roseanne is, you could tell she was humbled by the opportunity to be in the presence of such greatness... and to have such a great woman cook for her! Wow
I have watched this video so many times over the years. I love it as much now as I did the first time I saw it. PD was a really awesome and talented woman.
Love, love, love this. I've always been a Roseanne fan, including Roseanne's Nuts. I adored Phyllis Diller. I saw her perform in my hometown in 1982 or 83 at a dinner theater. I had the same drink at the end as I started with, because I was laughing too much to drink it. I'm so glad I got to see Ms. Diller, sorry I couldn't meet her. I'm happy you two were friends. What great memories you must have. ❤

I love that Phylis. I remeber her on lots of shows during the 60's when my mom would watch and went crazy laughing. This was 2007 and that lady was still extremely sharp.
I love. this lady . Garlic bread in the broiler and they go out to get lettuce from the garden.....lol !!! it would have burned. Roseanne and Phyllis were so great together . Roseanne. was so fun and pretty back then laughing and smiling .

This was AWESOME! It would be great if all great comedians would show Roseanne some support in her hour of need and invite her over for lunch. I'm not a comedian, or funny even, but Roseanne can come cook with me anytime. Oh, it was nice that PD just cooked up some normal grub you know she's been enjoying her entire life.
I LOVE Phyllis Diller!!! I Love you Roseanne Barr !!! You are sooo lucky to have spent time with Phyllis. I saw her on Broadway in front of one of the play houses. She was glorious!!!!!!

PHYLLIS, WAS THE ORIGINAL FEMALE COMEDIAN! LUCILLE BALL was awesome, but in her own words, said that the writers made her funny. I love PHYLLIS because she was THE ORIGINAL FEMALE COMEDIAN, THAT WROTE HER OWN JOKES!!!! SHE NEVER, EVER GOT THE CREDIT THAT SHE DESERVED!!! She wasn't mean spirited like Joan Rivers, who also copied PHYLLIS!

Absolutely love Phyllis Diller. A truly unique woman trailblazer. I can't remember her without thinking of her classic line "You know my husband, Fang!....." Oh my goodness she was outrageous. What a fun time to share a meal with her.
