Wow. That was awesome. Phyllis was a great dame of comedy. She really opened the stage to Roseanne and Joan et al. Unfortunately, her message was lost on Sara Silvermann

Even though this video is 9 years old, I think both these ladies are American treasures.

This must have been right before she died. Mom died June 2012. Phyllis Diller was my Moms favorite comic. Two months after she passed Phyllis died I swear my Mom wanted someone with her to laugh with!

Man it’s been years since I have watched Phyllis Dillard back in the old days when we only had one TV in our witch was black in white all the reruns were on the weekends I always had a good laugh whe she would co star on what ever verify show that she would be on at that time should make me and my mother and brother and step father laugh. And I always looked forward to every week when you Roseanne show came on at the time I was a stay at home mom living in W Virginia with my X husband and my two small kids at the time all my kids are grown now they lived you two I bought all of your DVDs from you series Roseanne was the best show at the time and your new show was to very funny it was a real shame the way they treated you it was in fair and truly stupid they must of lost millions. I started watching the new one when you were on it it was so funny. But the new one the conners the first two had a few laughs but the last 2 shows it just isnt the same with out you I personally think even though the actors who played as your gun bands and kids on the show lost the oomph that the show had when you were the main carector on the show How many times can you say your sorry now come on if the president of ABC didn’t like your comments she should of simple turned it off in our country we have free speech I guess they don’t believe in that or can’t take a joke even if it was a bad joke so what every one has said things they don’t mean or have said something stooped in there life they should fire them selfs in ABC I bet there kicking themselves in the but now on all the money they have lost
