Having some Rosemary at your Thanksgiving feast this holiday? Here are some historical facts, modern scientific info and little known folk uses about this common edible herb...
the saying " ROSEMARY IS FOR REMEMBRANCE " is as old as time - that's the reason brides carry it , and why it's planted at the cemetery , and why it's made into sachets , ACTUALLY IT IS GOOD FOR THE BRAIN , and people with a brain will always keep large plants of it in and around their homes , including scenting all their clothing and linens with it ! it also keeps away nasty insects , and is delicious in many dishes , but it is its ability to nourish the emotions and intellect which have given it a starring role in the herb kingdom for many millenia !
Your videos are amazing ! Very educating ! I would give a suggestion, can you bring Lavender herb and other herbs in the mint family to topics in future videos? I have watched the Sage one as well. Thank you soo much for your work and knownledge.
I love that you included the Hungarian Queens. You don't hear much about that country or the wisdom that came from it. I am first generation. And I'm also a psychic I come from long line of medicine women some people call them witches some people call them healers In the early hundreds of our species many of those people were put to death for practicing magick One of my ancestors was persecuted for practicing medicine without a license thankfully that doesn't happen anymore but there are other forms of persecution when people are scared of something they don't understand and yet we were born with it so now that I know Rosemary is consecrated to the divine feminine I'll be sure to keep it close to me at all times No wonder I had a great affinity for in the first place
Captain America America Bees are putting food on your table dude. Better yet let the expert gardeners handle this, you stay in your concrete jungle with your plastic potted ivy. Thanks.

@@mark621000 Being rude to this woman is neither salt nor light. Not only is she having to work hard, but our culture is telling her she is supposed to do everything. Please consider being kind.

PLEASE IF YOU INTRODUCE PLANTS,HERBS,AND FRUITS CAN YOU GO STRAIGHT TO THE POINT THEIR MEDICINAL IMPORTANCE ,PREPARATION and APPLICATION .I THINK EVERYONE CAN RESEARCH THEIR SCIENTIFIC NAME,FAMILY and SPECIES.THANK YOU .DO NOT BE OFFENDED TO COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS FROM VIEWERS AND READERS BECAUSE SOME RU-vidRS ARE.THEY EVEN SPECIFY THEY LOVE THEIR NATIONAL LANGUAGE NO ONE IN THIS UNIVERSE DOES LOVE,
For many that information is dry and uninteresting. I personally like the history and lore of how a food was used. We try to strike a balance between the two, but starting with the research would turn a lot of people off. Perhaps we should time stamp the videos?
Easy, just get a few cuttings and stick them into soil. I bought one seedling years ago, now there are 11-12 bushes growing along the side walk, all came from cuttings from my original plants. Very hardy once established.
