When i first joined the vtuber community i was surprised to hear that not many girls watched female vtubers, since i fell into the rabbit hole by watching Hololive talents as a girl my self. I thought that most girls would watch female vtubers because of relatability or smth
Female vtubers always seemed like they were only really welcoming to a male audience, girls could watch but there was not really any content for them, plus the fandom around female vtubers were very off putting with how obsessed guys would become, luckily it's starting to become the norm for ppl to try remove those kinds of fans from the community.
RU-vid defaults you to male if you don't specify. That's why the most women targeted material still tends to have pretty big male audiences and smaller channels are always 90%+ male.
38% is a REALLY high percentage for a female vtuber. I remember one time Pekora said her audience split was like 7% female. Seems like the ladies do love Rosemi indeed.
It's about stacking buffs. Being in Nijisanj is a huge buff on its own. Knowing Japanese or being Japanese is another one. Being ''classicaly" girly helps as well. There's some JP nijis with a nearly even split. Shiki from Prism has like 40% female viewers too.
Lazulight: 70-30 Selen:?????/Rosemi in this vid/Petra: 60-40 Reimu/Millie: 60-40 Enna:50-50 Nina:???? Source: They said on stream and were clipped so search for it yourselves.
I never expected id be Rosemi fan, but that Rose-mi music video just sold to me. COME ON BUDS. 🤗 I absolutely adore Rosemi energy, unapologetically girlie and magical.
@@MegaMangoAnime its perfectly normal to like girlie stuff and still be a masculine man. Sailor moon was famous because it was a blend of super sentai and romantic drama. Even a man likes to watch a romance if its good escapism
@@__NA0MII__x3 definitely one of the more "seiso" girls when shes streaming. Its no wonder her content feels VEEEERRRYYY seperated in comparison to the 3 girlie streamers who the company actively acknowledges as being "EXTREMELY UNHINGED" in comparison to someone like rosalina Cough, selen, enna, and pomu, cough >.>
As expected of Rosemi-sama and her sheer cuteness. She's got a whole gardens worth of adoring female fans. Makes sense, she's just so refined and gentlewomanly.
I saw one comment say something to the extent of "Rosemi has the personality that could just kill a lesbian on the spot", and could probably awaken others. I know a lot of Woman-Loving-Woman are attracted to more princely or cool/edgy characters, but there is a not so insignificant amount who just love and adore cute girls. Add in that Rosemi is not merely cute, but she's dorky, kind, and just a little bit princely, and you've got a special concoction who I honestly don't doubt could be breaking some walls for some people. Even putting that aside, it's just hard not to love her. Cute, hard-working, down to earth, and with a fighting can-do attitude. She's honestly just fantastic.
As a resident lesbian, I can absolutely attest to this lol Rosemi hits that nice middle ground of the spectrum that I personally enjoy, but I'm probably in the minority, I don't have a set type. I like both sides of the spectrum my prince tomboy and my girlie girls. Hell my first girlfriend was much more "girlie" then me lol but honestly like you said, rosemi is just to damn lovable to not like whoever you are
@@RoseScar Hey! Humble wording tip, I thiiiink the word you were probably been looking for is “attest,” as in “I can absolutely _attest_ to this.” Attesting for something means vouching that it’s true: attest, like a testimonial. Contesting something is actually almost the opposite: arguing that it’s _not_ true!
@@RoseScar My pleasure! Also I just noticed that I somehow managed to write “you were probably been looking for,” so check out the brains on THIS GUY! Hahah.
OMG YES I'm part of the 38% and i enjoy watching rosemi so much, she makes me so happy!! she just has this cheerful, sweet and lovable vibe that anyone could enjoy🥹 really need that positivity in my life
Girl rosebud here as well. Her personality is seriously my type for streamers and the games she plays are the ones I really love too. When I learned that she plays FPS as well as Moba types of games, I subscribed. When she picked up Walking Dead and Yugioh, I was sold.
considering so many nijigirls are actually rosemi's fans even before becoming nijisanji vtuber, it is not very surprising that so many girls are rosemi fans
I absolutely love watching Rosemi-sama ^^) every now & then when I can't watch her streams I'll watch the vods of the stuff I missed even the really older ones while I'm drawing & stuff. She's really enjoyable to watch & listen to// glad to know more girls watch her too. Thanks for clipping this!!
Rosemi-sama is so lovable, I’m not surprised that a lot of girls watch her too! I hope more of the Niji EN girls get a bigger female audience in the future since they’re all so fun and creative ☺️❤️
Maybe the issue is that my reference is Hologirls not other Nijigirls, or maybe because JP vtubers are more a more gender segregated(?) audience but a split that can get as high as 60-40 seems like a truly massive proportion of girls for a female vtuber. Good on Rosemi. I know that (at least 1 year or more ago) among all the JP Hologirls pretty much nobody had a split smaller than 90-10. Even if she is Niji, and even if the Niji boys have been massively cracking into the girl market, Rosemi-Sama is impressive.
it is definitely a massive proportion of girls for a female vtuber overall, but nijisanji tends to have a much more even split than hololive (their first wave was mixed gender), and ESPECIALLY nijien. with luxiem bringing in a massive female audience to nijien, most of the nijien girls had an increase in female audience.
A quote from No game no life. The one true, unchanging righteousness in the world is..... CUTENESS!!! All our needs desire and instinct seeks cuteness! And it is for cuteness that we will give everything we have! Rosemi's charm knows no Gender!
As a girl myself I watch all types of vtubers, Mainly Hololive ones and Nijisanji, Although me watching these Vtubers wasnt planned i just ended up finding a clip of Rushia(RIP) screaming and i found it hilarious 💀
Makes a lot of sense to me, they have someone they can relate more compared to guy streamers, they are cute (everyone likes cute things whether they admit it or not) and they have a chance to join a job that they will probably enjoy with people they like, it's just win's all around.
Honestly, it would be interesting to see a group of V-Tubers play video games with a RU-vid gaming crew. Like Nijisanji, Hololive, or VShojo collab with the Hidden Masters, The Goons, or the Vanoss Crew.
