We stayed in Orlando February 2024. In this full review and room tour I show you what you can expect if you're planning a vacation to Rosen Inn.
The Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando is a popular hotel located near the Pointe Orlando shopping and entertainment complex in Orlando, Florida. Amazing! Did you go for the Dining Plan? We’re looking at August next year and are considering onsite again (for part of it) to get the DDP. You’ll get wrapped up in that Disney bubble. What a trip though, you all must be so excited!

Having stayed at a few Rosen hotels and other hotels in,Orlando Rosen hotels are fantastic value for money and found the staff very helpful clean and friendly high recommended

Thanks for watching. We totally agree- they are fabulous value for money. We’ve stayed in more expensive hotels and didn’t have a daily maid service. Great locations and value. Are you planning on going to Orlando any time soon?

First time watcher, new sub. Can you not clear usa customs in ireland? I thought id seen on another vlogger this was possible.

Thanks for watching and subscribing. Yes you can clear US customs from Ireland. We’ve used that service in previous vlogs. On this trip we flew via Canada. You can only clear US immigration when flying to the US. I e got other videos up flying to the US with Aer Lingus that uses pre-clearance. Check out that video. Are you going to Orlando soon?

Thank you for sharing. This is one of the places I'm thinking of staying at. I was wondering do they charge you a resort fee and are they any hidden fees people may not be aware about?

Thanks for watching and subscribing Luke. No resorts fees at any Rosen hotel. They also don’t charge parking fees ( if you have a car). There shouldn’t be any other hidden fees but it may depend on who you book through. We got the roll away bed included but with some sites it was an extra nightly charge.

Thankyou for posting ive just booked for 2026 having a large family it'd cost so much more at other places so would take me alot longer to be able to go to Orlando. Your video has given me an idea of the Rosen a bit more because i was skeptical. I also wasnt aware of no resort fees and didnt realise how big it was

Hi Lindsey, we haven’t booked for 2026 yet. Focusing on next year for now. A lot of hotels and travel companies won’t have released their 2026 prices yet.

Good tour of the property. Haven't seen too many stay here, as I think they prefer the other Rosen Inn further up on I drive. How was the room, as there are five of you? I know it can be difficult getting rooms for 5 people, as I am that family also.

Thank you for watching glad you liked it. The room was fine for what we needed. We wasn’t in the room other to sleep and freshen up so it suited us for this type of holiday as we were hardly there. The beds were so comfortable and the rollaway bed went in front of the window beside one of the double beds so we still could move around the room freely. Are you planning a trip?

Thanks for replying, guys. It is helpful as there are so many options, but i guess it's down to what is most practical and beneficial for your family. And with a young family like myself, your trips really help me to see what would be most suited for us in all aspects of a Florida trip. I hope to plan a trip 🤞🤞

Thanks for watching and subscribing. Not sure if you can request a specific room but I know others have requested a specific block, floor and view (pool view or I-Drive view). We saw the other Rosen which was further up I-Drive closer to Universal. Looked good too. What were the restaurant options that were close to the Rosen International?

I’m not sure. I believe they started the work in November and had just finished block A mid February. They were just making a start on block B 20th February. There are 7 blocks.

It could be, if not I would think it would be nearly finished and be up at the end blocks. Request a room in Block A or B. Have a brilliant time 😀

I would never stay in a motel that's at least 40-50 years old. With all the options in Orlando, I suggest an all suite hotel w/ free breakfast like: Residence Inn, Homewood Suites, Home 2 Suites by Hilton, Embassy Suites, Hyatt House or Hyatt Place,. Also, SpringHill Suites or Towne Place Suites by Marriott. More room plus free breakfast.

Thanks for the comment Jeff. You are absolutely right, there are so many options in Orlando regarding accommodation. That’s why we review and tour the places we stay in- to help people make their minds up if that motel / hotel is suitable for them. The free breakfast you mentioned is a huge benefit, especially with the rising cost of eating out in Orlando. Although the free parking and no resort fees at the Rosen locations will also be a huge factor for people to consider. The Rosen suited us on trip for that exact reason but we may choose differently on future trips depending on other factors. The list you’ve provided gives us a few to look at. Think I stayed at this hotel many years ago. As I remember us walking across to Pizza Hut. But I think it was under a different name?

My mistake guys. It was that hotel😊 think it was our second visit back to Orlando back then. Many great memories of the hotel😊 Pizza Hut caught me out. Popped in there after hours at the park. Just ordered what would have back in the uk. Didn’t realise the sizes are much bigger than ours😮 had a lovely waitress who boxed up what we couldn’t eat, to take back to the room😊😊😊

No worries Geoff. The dinner box from Pizza Hut was a ton of food for just over $30. Bargain in Orlando. No better place than Orlando for making life long memories!

Staying here in 6 weeks time 😬 Is there a particular block which is better to stay in over others or are they all pretty much the same ? We’ve always had a villa previously but with only 3 of us going a hotel made sense. Location looks ideal 👌🏻👌🏻

Hi Michael, thanks for watching and subscribing. Regarding your question, it will depend on how far along they are with the renovations by the time you get there. Might be worth emailing the hotel to request a room in a block away from the renovations. Regarding your room, each block has pool view (also looks towards the I-4, or view of drive. We reckon I-drive view is slightly quieter and you can also see some of the fireworks at Disney from the higher floors. We’re considering a villa holiday, which resorts would you recommend?

@@thekennafamilyadventures5 We’ve generally stayed just off Highway 27, there are some fantastic communities along there. Calabay Parc is a good one, Highlands Reserve also lovely. I wouldn’t stay as far out as Haines City as we stayed at Southern Dunes in 2019 and coming back from the parks took nearly an hour, the I4 was a nightmare !

Food and shopping wise I’d say yes, slightly more expensive. I guess it’s got more expensive everywhere though, even at home. At least there’s plenty of options for eating out that don’t cost the earth.

We love this hotel and have been staying here since 2010. It has happy memories for us as a family as we came a few times with my mum and dad. Dad has passed away now, and my mum can't travel now due to her health. You are right about the staff, we love them so friendly and helpful. The grounds and hotel is clean too. Roll on 2025 lol. Thanks for sharing with us xx
