Oh my gosh the owner was the BEST with her testimony! She wasn't taking any nonsense because she knows her business and she seems no nonsense like as to say that she wasn't going to be allowing any little kids on the floor unless they were part of a class and they weren't just allowed to play on the structures, because she was protecting her own self. She really was on top of the coaches and everybody to keep the other kids off the floor. Defense just doesn't even want to hear it. Luckily, we know now that the rose and bombs were convicted. Thank God

This is really disturbing testimony from the gym mom. Really shows what a two-face Jennifer is-after considering Jennifer's text exchanges with Tessa (the real mom.) Just UNBELIEVABLY EVIL.

Listening to Sara McKee's testimony goes to show how shitty people are when she said Jennifer didn't like the Tessa, the bio mom, but yet Jennifer pretended to be so supportive and uplifting to Tessa all along and had Tessa convinced that Jennifer was nice, supportive and encouraging her. I just can't stand fake people!
That blew my mind too!! Obviously Millie was abused but there was some reason im Jennifer's sick twisted head that made her want to hurt poor little Leila much more than her sister. I don't know how anyone can say she wasn't starving that poor baby. U look at the pictures the media have put out and you can see the transformation of her looking like a healthy cute little thing with chubby cheeks to a sad sickly child who's hair was even thinning which is really common in malnutrition. The picture of her in the highchair looks like a totally different baby. So so sad what these poor girls went thru. At least they both are in better places now and no longer suffering
When is the defense gonna understand attacking the witnesses doesn’t look good. It’s NOT helping. I thought the first rule of being an attorney was to never ask a question you don’t already know the answer to? The defense is being made to look real dumb but asking questions a certain way snd getting it wrong and these witnesses aren’t afraid to call them out lol

The defence attorney in a soft nanna voice - "I'm just going to ask you a few questions, let me know if you can't hear me..".. Next sentence loud yelling voice - "ISN'T IT TRUE THAT... (Insert really outlandish claim that no-one in the world is going to believe), ISN'T THAT RIGHT?" everyone else - WTF!
She told them that Millie was hers that's why she signed her up as Millie Rosenbaum. I think she told one of the mothers that she had Millie through IVF. So in their head she was her mother because Jennifer said that's what she was.
I felt very badly for Sara McKee, she was very upset. As a mother of a little girl, this must have been very hard for her, knowing this baby was abused during the time she knew them.
The gym mother looks as if she’s so sad and may feel guilty for not realizing the abuse. Sorry for her. Mull. Is making her feel worse than she already does.
Number One mulling over this whole incident I can’t even imagine after the fact how people who came into contact with the child feel knowing this was the outcome. Major guilt feeling I bet.
Access to children especially ones that are already damaged. They already usually have behavioural problems etc so the blame can always be placed away from them the *saints whom is taking them and the children aren't believed.
Besides the fact if that baby fell and broke her leg someone wouldve known, SOME worker in that gym would've seen and heard her cry. with a break like that the baby wouldve cried in pain and someone would've seen it! that gym wasn't THAT big!! besides just like they said, the workers ALL watched to make sure an unapproved child was not on the floor, much less playing on equipment!! this woman is caught in multiple lies! she lied to drs as well. she told one tht the child fell off of equipment, she told 2 others the child fell while trying to kick her leg up to do a particular type of move, no equipment involved. not to mention the issues with not taking her to er, not following up like the orthopedic dr stated, dr shopping, lies and multiple other issues!! and the child had a healing broken arm, broken leg, and COVERED in bruises!!

That's what I thought the first day that they tried to use getting hurt at the gym as an excuse because somebody would have definitely heard if she falls and she would have cried and it would have been a big thing and everybody would have ran over and none of that happened. I mean by now I'm sure the jury already has in their mind that this woman is a killer
The guilt must be hard to deal w/ for some people who came into contact w/ JR and Laila. Seeing signs of abuse, questioning it, and then knowing it was JR the whole time.
Sarah McKee seems really bothered by the whole thing. I'm sure she feels bad. Maybe one of those people who felt she should have said something or done something.
Yep. She broke it falling down the stairs, she broke it stepping in a hole in the yard, she did it doing gymnastics at home, she did it at the gymnastics gym
That one fact alone is a HUGE red flag for child abuse! And u could tell that the witnesses had no idea of the other stories that were told until they were told when they got on the stand. You could just see the horror on their face
Holy Crap...It just hit me why Jennifer abused these girls. She was JEALOUS of Tessa. Here Jennifer was trying hard to do everything right, school, career, marriage and try to have children of her own unsuccessfully with invitro and here is Tessa, someone she hated, us8drugs, with different men and having several beautiful children easily. She planned this ALL. To get her children and beat them to death to further devastate Tessa because she felt that Tessa didn't deserve all these lovely children. She was going to take that away her children one way or another, exclude the family of the girls from seeing them including the great grandmother, so she can get her revenge against Tessa. Jennifer is pure EVIL. My gut tells me that I am on the right track here...all the lies she told to the doctor about how she was going to adopt these children that were on a path to reunification with Tessa. Also, the gymnastics mom thought that Millie was Jennifer's biological mom. All of her behaviors just came together with Macy's mom's testimony.
@@asllaniiiii u literally read my mind! I have never heard of this as punishment for such young children until these two cases. I'm not trying to sound rude but is that a southern thing or what? Tim Jones is originally from Chicago and so am I and I have never heard of this outside of high school coaches making their teams do this when they screw up a game but never for punishment to such small children
It is heart breaking. It sounds like the only one that tried to do anything about it was Patricia Lambert. She reported all of the injuries the girls were coming back with after their visits with these monsters and DFACS goes and snatches them out of her care and sticks them with their abusers. I hope all of the ppl that pulled strings go get these lil angels placed with these demons feel horrible about themselves.

It seems like our society just doesn't want to confront child abuse, especially when you have all these people coming into contact with this child and seeing the strange marks on her, seeing her completely dog tired in the middle of day. Nobody spoke up for this poor child. They all 'minded their own business' and didn't trust their senses.
I feel bad for the gym. Laila didn't break her leg at the gym. Dr. Duxburg said it wouldn't happen. The defense attorney getting a photograph from the CSI.
@@caterinascarcella I thought the gym owner was pretty on point too, along with the young gym coach. They were seriously just no nonsense. That gym owner was like no way you're going to make my place look bad because what you're saying definitely didn't happen here. I'm glad she stuck up for herself like she did. And the fact that they had to bring investigators in there just to see if that could have possibly happened there, really makes me mad because Jennifer rosenbaum knows that it didn't happen there. I'm just so glad she got convicted of her horrendous crime and Joseph too for allowing it to happen.

Corine Mull the defence attorney was a great choice from the view of the prosecution. Her patented way of treating every witness like a criminal really helped you dislike her and her clients. she just exudes disdain.
She certainly seems to think so. Couldn't manage to get those two pieces of hair in her pony tail as a professional person would have and I stopped counting how many times she threw that bleached out pony tail around 😜 just looking at her papers I was afraid she was going to have whiplash 😂🤣

I think I know what Jenniferś problem was. She was unable to have children and was jealous that Tessa was so fertile. She resented the children because she could not birth her own. Some women go thru IVF and I am one of them 3 failures -- but I was able to accept Godś plan for me.
You could be onto to something there. I had 7 years of infertility treatment, multiple surgeries & IVF. In the end I had to have an emergency hysterectomy. I had a son prior to beginning treatment but was unable to conceive another child. To say it was traumatic is an understatement. And I have definitely struggled seeing so many women able to have multiple children & at times not even wanting them. I can definitely see how these factors might have played a part in this woman’s actions. Of course it’s completely beyond me how someone could take their anger out on a child! But there are a lot of unwell people in the world.
I think u r definitely on to something there. All of the witnesses who talked about Tessa and Jennifer being in foster care together say that Jennifer said that Tessa was mean to her when they were both in foster care. I wonder if there is some kind of weird deep rooted anger there that made Jennifer do this. She did go through some great lengths to not only get foster kids but specifically Tessa's daughters. It's very strange
@@power2theppl896 From watching Tessa on the stand I find it hard to believe that if anyone was being mean to someone it would be here. I could see Tessa being well liked, addict of course, but still at her core very sweet. Jennifer on the other hand seems to be a very angry person. Poor Laila and poor Tessa. I feel so bad for everyone in this family.
You guys, has anyone not seen the former neighbor who said that Jennifer said "Karma is a Bitch"? Her and the birth mother were former foster children. There is something that ruined Miss Jennifer early on and she's obviously been looking for payback ever since. That former neighbors testimony said alot.

@40:20 Sarah McKee says Jennifer told her, after she saw the red marks on Laila's abdomen, that her biological parents would make her eat her feces and if she wouldn't they would pour boiling water on her... I wonder if that's what Jennifer actually did to her. The amount of abuse these children went through with the Rosenbaum's is beyond disturbing... and she found out that a woman who she was in foster care with as a child had her own children in foster care and pulled strings to get the children just for the sole purpose of abusing them? I'm a bit surprised that she didn't just plead guilty and is willing to air all of this publicly. She sounds like a manipulative psychopath.

It’s obvious the defense attorney is trying to imply the injuries occurred relative to attending the gym. That is her JOB , detrimental remarks about her are not deserved. Her goal is To present the case in a manner that leaves GREATER THAN a reasonable doubt . That’s what every client expects and needs. All that’s said , these Witnesses testifying are being called by the Prosecutor,.

Millie said how she would get whipped, how they would have to eat nasty mashed potatoes and if they threw it up they were made to eat their vommit, how they were made to stay in bed, how they got spanked for sleeping in the car. Etc.
