A video of me almost literally tip-toeing my way through Sepperin Castle III, the Castle Bridge.
RKS is a Castlevania game. If you ever doubted my word, this stage and the next are all the proof you need.
Anyways, this stage... it gave me SOOOOOO much trouble. The stage thrives on giving you many dangerous jumps with Living Crosses being there to hit you mid-jump. I abused the hell of Eins, Liebessturm, and Geisterwand in this stage for that reason. And the later portion, running on top of a crumbling bridge, did not helped. That is the reason I took my sweet time through this stage. This was the door stopper for me. And the boss is not helping.
The boss of this stage is Raimund Seyfarth, also known as Thanatos. Like Lilli eloquently put: "Seyfarth?". Yes, this is the grandfather of Grolla. Again with the grandfather-student relationship. At first, Thanatos will throw the Devil Scythe Grassense (which translate into the terrifying Grass Scythe... no, really, be scared). The scythe has a predetermined path and will throw smaller scythes at you after some time. This makes the scythe HARD to dodge, and since in order to practice the pattern you need to beat three stages, there is no easy way to practice. The scythe is weak, ironically, to her sister weapon, Grollschwert. When reaching Desperation Mode, Seyfarth will take the field himself. Attacking him while he is tap dancing around will only net you a swift counter attack by Thanatos's Grollschwert. After he stops side-stepping, he'll spin Grassense and Grollschwert will disappear. The spin will pull you into him and after a little while he'll summon Grollschwert on top of you. Slide to dodge. He is only vulnerable when he summons Grollschwert. As you can guess, this battle is VERY annoying since both Grassense and Grollschwert are pretty hard to dodge and Seyfarth is vulnerable only for a little while in the middle of an attack you need to be sliding to dodge. He is weak to the Grudge Sword's charged attack. But that still is annoying...
Enters Lilli. Seyfarth is one of three bosses that Lilli is strong against. Lilli will not activate a counter attack (but ACTIVATING Lilli will), so she will hurt him while he is side-stepping, and you don't need to aim while he is summoning Grollschwert to hit him. You need Lilli at near full power to deplete the half of health he has.
