Rosmontis easily has my favorite l2d e2 art, the square background with the composition letting everything breath, your eye tracks the main focus, Rosmo, then is lead to the giant hunks of iron like a more half circle motion ending off with the cat on the rock, which is far far better than her dissapointing skin which just has you staring at the hunk of scifi pillar instead of Rosmo in a very bland color scheme, unlike the e2 art which has loads of color and lack of it letting Rosmontis pop as the centerpiece Rosmo e2 definitely up there with texaco e2, gater e2, and chalter e2 as much as it pains me to say it cuz booba cringe
@@sharkyferret honestly her skin is sucha dissapointment, especially when compared to her e2, its just a clusterfuck of white, and her white techno pillar is where the eyes draw in in as if its the subject instead of Rosmontis herself, not to mention a lack of any meaningful color usage to make her atleast pop out instead of her stupid techno pillar
I remember she is pretty nice to use in a old CC high risk due to her stalling in S3. Apparently one of her module in CN basicaly make her as group killer are decent and even can use to kill group of mid-high def enemies.
A long overdue video, I apologize in that regard. Here's my scuffed excuse: Was going through finals and afterwards, hibernated for a few days in my apartment playing Fire Emblem rom hacks to rest up.
I've been playing since Aug 2020, and to this day, she is my only M9, and no regrets, because her skills are so different that they all get used at some point. If I were to make a wish about her module, I know it would be too much to ask for anti-air options, but, imagine if she used one of those tactical gears to protect herself against 1-2 attacks? It would be unique and cool. They will probably give her HP increase though, the thing no one complained about.
I love this operator. She was my first non-newbie banner 6* and as a result my general squad ended up sort of kind of being a physical only squad with not a lot of debuffing (there is only one debuff that isn't Shamare's doll and that is known as brute force). Damage-wise she's almost certainly on the ehhhhhhh spectrum. She's an aoe operator first and foremost (which is weird because she doesn't have an aoe tag) and she's honestly pretty undertuned. Flat defense ignore is very weak because unlike res defense usually stacks super high for enemies. Her attack is also pretty low all things considered. Roughly in the mid-high 700s which isn't very good. The devs clearly overcompensated for the fact that they thought 160/175 defense ignore was too good. Then about a year later they just go "yeah let's give Nearlter a 25% defense ignore that sounds good". Sure do love that module copium (they'll make the upgrade talent 2 won't they). Skill 3 is by far her best skill overall but that blocking limitation can really hurt sometimes. There are enough scenarios where you want to use Ros s3 because it would be really good for this map because of the enemies and stuff but you can't because there are unplaceable tiles where the enemies are so you have to go and swap to your unmasteried s2 and cry because even though the stun can be decent the rng is never in your favour and spreading low stun chance across multiple hits is inherently worse than backloading the stun to the final hit. Her greatest merit is against low defense high res enemies. She's a caster killer. Usually caster type enemies have some defense but not a lot, usually to cover a small benchmark and to make themselves just that bit tankier. Rosmontis flat defense ignore is ironically better against lower defense enemies because she is able to get more impactful numbers out from them. Being able to create her tactical equipment is an ability that shouldn't be taken lightly, and that stun it causes is more reliable than s2 at times. She's probably one of the most infamous operators for having a huge gap between lore strength and in game strength. At times, it feels like she's throwing cinderblocks at enemies instead of giant slabs of metal tailor made to decimate buildings and leave no enemy alive. One thing that carries over, ironically, is her defensive spread. She's pretty tanky for a non-phalanx ranged unit, and she can sponge a few hits in a pinch. Even though she isn't good in many senses of the word I still love using her. I've transitioned to a nicheknights that doesn't use her but I've also started tinkering with duos and trios that don't have a specific theme, the squad is just filled with my favorite ops in the game. Eventually I'll build a blockknights niche when Harmonie comes out, and then I'll be able to masquerade with the veneer of a niche and use Ros but until then she'll just be an op I use with Magallan from time to time. Even with all her flaws (she has many) I still love this little interrograde amnesia cat. She deserves all the love in the world and soon she'll get a module that will fix every single problem with her and she'll become the next meta operator. Even if she doesn't giving her a for example 15% defense ignore on top of her preexisting 160/175 would make my day and I'd love to see more flingers in general. Alongside Hexers Abjurers and Artificers it's probably one of my most favorite branches in the game.
Imagine using her S2/S3 back in CC#9 's new daily rotation map with the enemy move speed buff. I'll leave it to you since she doesn't exist in my roster.
I just want her because her attacks/weapons are so unique and powerful. Probably why I also wanted Horn... Actually big explosive imposing weapons in general are just kinda cool.
I feel really, really dumb for having had Rosmontis for all this time and I never, NEVER even considered the idea that her S3 would hit enemies other operators were blocking. I figured they had to be blocked by her pillars.
It also happens to likely be the dorkiest joke I've ever made. Using gradually smaller units of measurement was apparently something that came to me while writing the script haha.
