wow man I've been watching a few other guys build bridge-ports and rotaries in general and they skip so many crucial (at least what I think are from watching you) steps that just seam like they could cause horrible failure. If I was having a rotary built I would never trust anybody but you to build it 100%

I'm an old mechanic and it's good to see the rotary engine build by a true master tech and engineer, what I thought was a dying breed. Those engines are bad ass screamers. I would be interested in the horsepower/torque specs of the engine and the dyno run if you do them.

+manstersr Well thankyou for the kind words. HP/Ft lbs All depends which fuel you use...and of course boost level. In the case of the owners of the engine in the video, they will run methanol and this will allow for a range of 30-55 lbs boost. It is likely that for their class they will run approx 35 lbs and no more as traction will become an issue. This will translate to roughly 900 HP and 840 ft lbs. But these numbers are also dependent on the turbo design etc. Glad to see enthusiasm . Please like and share

That's neat! I've ridden in cars that have Wankel engines in them (two RX7's), and have seen a little one taken apart (an R/C aircraft engine), but never saw the Mazda engines assembled. Thanks for showing the video. It's good to know somebody makes those apex seals still. That was the downfall of the plane that carried the little single-rotor I saw taken apart.

I would definitely want to see more of that all aluminum 20b build! And if you ever do anything with belt-driven supercharging I would love to see that too. I'm dreaming about a 20b with a twin screw supercharger for good bottom end and true triple exhaust out the back!

+Philip Moore we will definitely film it and put it up when we are done. At this moment it may be a few months before we tear into it but we'll keep you posted. I don't do a lot with chargers but it is another reliable way to achieve boost yes. Screw type is a great way to get instant boost. Let us know if you need any help with your projects

Great video! I only watched about 20 minutes on my phone but I will definitely be watching the whole thing at home. Whenever I make it all the way down to Calgary I'd love to come check out your shop :-) More videos would be great, I was recently daydreaming about an all aluminum 20b if I won some ridiculous amount of cash. You guys are very talented...I LOVE your use of home made templates and other devices. Reminds me a lot of myself... Ive always wanted to put a rotary into a Mazda Miata....probably a nice 3 rotor like you have here. Watching more of this I cannot help but wonder at how much money those fine machines cost... They do a hell of a job and will last a lifetime so Im sure its worth it especially when you put them to good use...or work rather. Beautiful job..I would like to come work for you, been doing this kind of work my entire life.

+Xile Island We do only 4 rotor custom all aluminum PP road race engines. I do not get involved with the "gimic" 4 rotor engines where 13B parts are just stacked together. They dont cool properly and they have weak areas. We sell very few all alum 4 rotor engines as they are built with brand new parts and will not tolerate boost. Very pricey too.

Did me good to see a couple guys doing shit the RIGHT way instead of the way "everybody else" does it. I used to mod the hell out of 2 stroke V-4 Loop charged Evinrude outboards. Try 297 HP out of a v-4 2 stroke.:-) Put it on a 16 foot Banshee craft and ran 103 mph. with nothing but the prop and cavitation plate in the water... great times and good luck to y'all.
