Growing up we were poor. My mom did her best raising us four on her own. Many times we had mac and cheese. My sis was the cook so it wasn't the best. Of course she was only 12. But on payday we would get fancy and add a can of chili. Great memories. Thank you so much.

Hey Tallie Faye Love the food . Looks delicious. I have 2 plated like yours and have had them for about 15 yrs. Only two and have never found any more no matter where I search. My husband and I ate every meal from hem unless we had guest or family. Now that he passed I still eat every meal from them. Love ya girl ❤️
Wow I made a crockpot of Chilli yesterday and put it in containers in freezers. Had chilli dogs today and next week a bowl of chilli mac. Maybe sometime next month will have chilli Red. Anxious to try your onion rings recipe. Tfs

Your chili mac and onion rings both look de-li-cious! MMM-MMM-MM! Everything up to and including the beans is what I use to make "Skillet Chili", which we like served over rice.
Both of these recipes sound amazing. I can't wait to try your macaroni Rotel pasta. Your onion rings look perfect. I have never had luck with onion rings and getting the texture correct. I have to try this recipe. You call it dry wet and dry. I grew up in the restaurant business, and we call it flour, batter, and flour.

This has to be delicious! My oldest granddaughter doesn't like onions but she will eat onion strings! They are like onion rings except sliced very thin soaked in buttermilk then in a seasoned flour mixture.
Our famous cafe recipe for onion rings was salt, pepper and flour! Sliced onion in flour! Dip in cold buttermilk back in flour flour and in hot deep fryer! You might want to try it! Its delicious too!
I like to make a pie. Plate of sour cream and chives to dip onionvrings in afer eggs before flour mixture a little cornstarch in the flour make you rings fries ect crunchier

I prefer to make the onion petals, easier for me to eat them that way. When I bite into an onion ring, half of the onion comes out dangling, maybe something I am not doing right. Eating the petals is like eating popcorn, pop em in the mouth, easy peasy. 😄

Either do them as instructed before sharing them. Or at the time of sharing. However, give us all the Tally Fe version, and tell us how your version makes it better or just different I honestly feel, the viewers will appreciate your critique and alterations! That chili mac looked so good, and I love the idea of pairing it with onion rings. For some reason, tonight you seemed more like your regular self than you have in a bit (between being sick and your loss). So glad to see it. Thank you for being the ray of light that you are. Love those plates. I'm one of those folks that eats one thing at a time, and I prefer my foods not to touch, so those plates work great for that.
