As far as streaming goes, you can connect a Roku, Apple TV or Fire Stick up to the Rotel and use that as your streamer. You can also use Chrome Cast via your connected TV. Beyond that, you can buy and connect a digital music streamer up to the Rotel... a BlueSound 2i.
Nice presentation of an AWESOME piece of equipment! but... NO SWITCHED AC OUTLET! That is a deal-breaker for me! I am here bc my Marantz SR5013 OVER-HEATED, and the unit is TOAST now!. The fan which is sitting on top (blocking ventilation) didn't get turned on. I can see some IRONY there! (my COOLING fan OVER-HEATED the unit) I want the fan turned on AUTOMATICALLY with the unit.
Finally!😍. I was waiting for so long for you to unbox this specific product. I have my eyes set to this home theater amlified prossesor. I really like that is dedicated amplifier for home theater, no radio, no streamer only sound quality. I was looking for a product like this in the past, never thought someone will actually do it !👍. And it actually say the real watts of the amp. Two quick questions for you: I will asume that it will not burn from heat, like the other receivers and also can I drive two atmos speakers from the center backs speakers outputs, or its processor can't do that and I have to get an external two channel amp? I want to run a 5.1.2 atmos system. Do you think it can drive the Dynaudio Evoke line? Probably it can. Great unboxing again!😁
Yes, it will run the Evoke range effortlessly. The Rotel processes Atmos, but all the practical hands on time I have had with it, suggests you can't re-map the amplification and will require additional external amp for the additional Atmos channels.
Does it not have room correction? $7500, well above my budget, do they have a 5.1 channel or stereo receiver model? Having said that, what do you suggest is the best receiver or A/V Amp with a major focus on music, specifically for classical and voice for max $3,500? I would be happy if it was Stereo but would prefer it had all the modern functions of current receivers, pref including Google/Alexa integration. Also, do you know of the Wharfedale Reva 3 or Reva 4 speakers? Is there a specific amp that would suit these speakers and given I have a fairly small room, should I go with the smaller Reva 3 model as opposed to the Reva 4 or is there a benefit in going with the larger speakers regardless of room size? I really like the look of those but they seem to be disappearing before my budget is allowing me to purchase them, do speakers get discontinued? Despite your uncouth unboxing method, I would buy from you but sadly I suspect shipping from NZ to VIC AUS would be rather costly, especially for the more weighty items.
Maybe Antham. They do a nice unit. MRX-520 and MXR-720, which are the 5.1 and 7.1 version of this one here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-K4JdI2sZEL4.html
A cd....not had one of those in years, they should have used a usb stick. Light on the remote, would have been handy a decade ago, now I would just use my phone.
The Listening Post - When the fuck do we get to listen to it? Real world review of it in use would be nice... That’s why it’s so hard to find a decent audio channel
This is an unboxing channel. For listening we implore you to go into a store and listen to it. Otherwise your experence will be tainted by the mic we use, the diting we do AND your player, DAC, cables and speakers. Please go to a retailer for a listen.
You channel name has the word ‘listening’ in it, misguided or what? So listen to it and provide feed back on the performance....... I don’t know how ‘unboxing’ is a thing... it’s not like taking clothes off a hot women....
This lovely amplifier is an example of how well things can be made in China. Great R&D, great design, great manufacturing, brillient quality control and a "second to none" attitube to customer satisfaction. Great things can be made in China
