A CAI does wonders to make that supercharger come alive ... hopefully you decide to do a tune eventually just a simple adjustment in timing helps the car come alive !
so basically i can be risking both warranties on my 2020 ZL11LE factory and after market warranty so i can hear more of a whine? Man i've seen this warranty companies they're crooks and they look for any mods that you put back to factory especially screws that have been removed and any other excuse not to warranty the car. You'd think that a cold air intake would be something to help protect the engine because you're keeping the engine stay cooler. i wouidnt chance it i been through hell with these warranty companies because they just wanna take your money and not fix shit and they love when you've done any type of tuning or anything after market except maybe an exhaust.
Engine hardly gets any cooler. There is so much heat under the hood that an open element might even let more heat get into the exposed filter. As a stand alone mod a cai does absolutely nothing other than give more sound. All these claims of 25 and more hp increases are total bullshit .
