Yes, we all gather once a year and EVERYBODY wants to go run down the Red River just north of Gainesville. Don't watch this video thinking this is just a spur of the moment run. Before departure the run is scouted, and examined, the group of pilots are gathered and briefed extensively with a plan in place. Myself and the #2 ship are very experienced and prebrief our own flying of this area before we depart. As "crazy" it may look to the average viewer, please realize this is not as spontaneous as it looks!
