Hi, how does the bass sound without amplifier? I would like something semi-acustic for home practicing (with a bunch of techniques, including slap and tapping), since I don't want to rely on amplifiers / headphones. But the acoustic basses look a bit too big/uncomfortable. Unfortunately, it's pretty hard to find this (fretted) model nowadays, but I'd like to understand if this is what I'm looking for before starting a serious search. Thanks!

Tone knob seems to be turned more then half way. But it doesn't infect the sound so much. That's what I get out through the Focusrite Scarlett without changing anything, so I just take it like this most of the time. I only played the bass through a real amp one time (smartphone sound quality) : ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zwJ5hfFP9oY.html If you want to really change the basses sound, I read a review about this, you'll have to play with the Piezo system on it's back. But I never touched it.
@@piroskakuhn_musician_teacher after watching the other video, i still dont think i heard the same. i might have to check it at the store again. it was a. 2017 model. is yours a 2017 or 2018 one? thank you for the info.
@@rreuno I really don't know. I bought it through Ebay from Italy (!) 'cause it was at a very good price. Don't think they build it anymore. If you like the sound, get an used one anyhow, there are some at reasonable prices.
