Aw, she's just a big old momma who loves kids. dogs are just built for loving stuff. My old dog liked to bark at cats a bit, but whenever he'd come across a kitten, he'd get super protective of it, and go straight into dad mode.

Actually, they do. I once had a female black cat who loved me and only me. Nobody else could pet her.

I love foxes unfortunately lot people don't and it just goes to show how animals are not like us humans judge mentle good on these lovely souls who take the time to look after them instead of killing them 😇☺

Sigh. Now go into your chicken shed and the whole place looks like a serial killer got in there and a guilty looking fox hiding in a corner... Don't spout cack when you have no knowledge of the subject. I have absolutely no problem with foxes but I understand full well why my grandfather and father would have set up a Lewis gun for fox blasting outside the egg and hatching sheds.

Foxes actually take pretty well to domestication. I see no reason these pups can't be given to good homes.

+Codruta Nastase Because of their upbringing (fostered by a dog and close to humans), they would be easy preys in the wild as they would be too trusting towards other humans and animals.

She either left them because she couldn't care for them (not supplying enough milk, thinks something is wrong with her kits) or she was killed. Happens in the wild.
