I've got a 2006 Hummer H3 Base. I bought it February 2023. It was bone stock. I've got five 33 inch by 12 inch RBP mtrx tires on my stock rims. I just put Bilstein B6 4600 shocks on the front and installing the rear ones tomorrow. 88,000 me on mine and they were the original shocks. I couldn't believe how much better just changing the front shocks was. I almost screwed up and bought thel B8 5100 Bilstein shocks which are actually made for leveled or lifted H3'sl. The Bilstein 4600 are the equivalent of the adventure series heavy duty OEM shocks. They don't make those anymore. I love my Hummer.

very nice! i went with the bilsteins on my 06 h3 and love them. ran over someone in a wheel chair and didnt even feel it! i did raise my torsion bars up to level it out so when buying shocks after leveling, you should buy front shocks that say 0 to 1.5 lift to make up for it or you will over extend the stock front shocks. as for nose dive, you can get extended bump stops from trail duty. after that your all good.

Im running black max skyjacker on all four and its not a bad drive im driving from bluesprings to kck every day and its been great way better than stock and the price was great i think a paid $250 for all four

The Monroe reflex mono tube is what I went with on all four corners about 3 years ago. May be worth checking into. Been happy with mine and pretty sure it’s as close as you’ll get to stock which is what I wanted. Good ride good quality and fair price was my experience

I have a Hummer H3 2008, the noise you are hearing is the vent on the back door it has a rubber seal that wears out. I have the same noise I just haven't fixed it yet. Hope this helps.

Front bushing and shocks on front end will take care of nose dive. Can’t say I’ve ever experienced that and once you mess with the torsion bar get ready for a rougher ride and braking will suffer! also Bilsteins have been noted by others to give the H3 a stiffer ride! Everybody has there opinion but the stock ride of the hummer is great and once you go the other direction it’s a crap shoot! Just my two cents👍. Hummer in stock form is great in my opinion

i think the noise your hearing is the door hatch. serious , i put on my bilsteins and thought it was a bad shock so they sent a new one. noise was still there. found out its the door hatch part that looks triangular that fits into another triangular part. it got loose. some people hammer it a lil to make it tighter. but i swear the noise and small thump was suspension but stupid me.....

Hmmm maybe so I haven't thought about that. It's a noise that doesn't happen unless I'm braking and it's very hard to explain lol.

@@BADZ71 yeah I could be wrong but the noise I was getting made me totally think it was the brakes. Maybe when you're braking the front Force motion is making the rear hatch lift up and make some sort of noise? After I found out it was my hatch I deleted my tire and put a spare tire delete. You could check it out on my videos if you would like.

Mobil 1 5w 30w synthetic is a good one! I’m approaching 160,000 miles and still runs great

I actually use Castrol synthetic blend 5w30 in mine. Change it with the filter every 3000 miles.

Off-road capability of a Jeep but the ride quality is far superior! You can’t go wrong with the H3 if you don’t buy into all the hype with Jeep’s! It’s a bargain right now and build quality is great!
