Good one! I just got my first Impreza. It was abandoned. But I found the owner and bought it off him. I think the diff bearing is bad. So working out replacing it and perhaps swapping in a slip diff version. Still working out the R160/R180 differences
9:17 I'd recommend cleaning them up entirely in a bucket of mineral spirits. That axle grease is almost certainly old enough to have been superseded. You'll want to replace it with 28395AG030

Legacy h6 wagon has huge brakes I have to run 17s to clear them I put them on mine front and rear 11.6 front 11.5 rear rotors and vented% my car is 2,000lbs 85rx turbo sedan with the 06 gd swap and you can only run 5x100 or get custom hubs to fit the xt6 rear hubs with 5x114.3 pattern. I just rock the gold 5x100s and rally on
Removing the outer doj is a pain don’t get discouraged I use a wood block with a hole in it and a bigger hammer and it comes off. But I have ruined one or 2 because the circlip was siezed
