I have this exact P0014 code in my 2007 Mini Cooper R56 base model, drives me insane. I changed both VVT-solenoids (front and back), both Camshaft Position Sensors, the motor oil & oil filter, the air filter and the gas cap since it was looking like it leaked air. I reset the code with my scan tool, but the code comes back after I drive it for a while. Any ideas as of what the problem might be? Could it be a faulty Eccentric Camshaft Sensor ( the only sensor I havn´t replaced)?? Or a bigger problem with the actual Camshaft? Do I need to reset something with the scan tool after replacing all these sensors or should it work by only deleting the fault code after I have replaced them?
Hi....I have a question I have a chevy equinox 2012 LT and o noticed the code p0014 so I took it to fix and they replaced the timing solenoid and it seem fixed just for two days it came back they can't figure out what it is . Also is it safe to drive the car with the engine light on its in yellow not red and I'm worried if this continues

I had this problem for 3 months still wont fix. I changed the oil three times already, Changed the intake and outtake camshaft two times but still wont work. At first the problem was P0304 spark plug which I replaced and the car was fix but after 2 weeks passed by, P0014 came out of no where. Then another week P0304 came back while P0014 was still active, At this point the problem is not the spark plug because this is my third time switching it out. It just delays the problem, But I think something is wrong with cylinder 4 im not to sure. Please help me. btw I have a Hyundai elantra 2017, 4 cylinders
@@zHazzz test the sensors. Adding power should make them click on and off when removing power. They should also test between 4.1 and 7.7 ohms of resistance.
I see a a lot of videos on the code p0304. Most of the videos show the mechanic replacing the ignition coils and spark plugs. I have the same code on a Dodge Journey, misfire 4 cylinder. However, I replaced those about 6 months ago. I did a ignition coil and spark plug swap, just to be sure- after that kicked up the same code and problem. Could the problem be the injector?

The amount of people who change the CMP Sensor without consulting mechanics drives me insane. I tell people all the time you probably have a bad VVT Solenoid, but being a retail auto parts worker they believe the words on the pages than the words from your mouth. Hopefully more people find this video instead and learn the difference.
