Hey Girl, I can't sleep w light on either, next time u go out at night, use ur head lamp, altho ur back flood lights are great, they attract all those bugs and being right by ur hatch, there is no way to prevent them from coming in no matter how fast u are. My friend is from New Jersey, and she said the first time she and a friend got gas outside of New Jersey, they had no idea what to do and an old man came up and showed them how to pump gas 😂 he saw their license plate and said, “yup, that looks like two girls from Jersey!”

NJ, most bigger cities in OR, and a lone city in NY require full-service gas. Next time, turn off all the interior lights, and just keep the outside lights on. The bugs will be attracted to the lights and go back outside.

Thinking of something may work with the bugs for next time. But they like light so next time when they are all in your truck turn out the inside light and on the outside light and leave the hatch open and since there is no lights on inside and is on outside. Maybe they'll all go back outside to the lights outside or at least some of them might. You should try it out and see if it works any at all! May not work at all but worth a shot! Being born and raised in NJ, it is one of the last states that you can't pump your own gas. My first trip to Alabama, i was so lost! I got into PA and i had NO CLUE how to pump gas. I had to go inside and ask for help, I was so embarrassed.

When going through major traffic cities like, DC, Dallas, Chicago... I prefer to be there around 3am Have you seen those electric bug zapper tennis rackets? Not great for super tiny bugs but amazing for mosquitos and flies. Vacuum the bugs?

So just an idea, I work at a library and we have great wi-fi. I strongly recommend checking them out for upload spots, even when closed because they are typically set up to provide wi-fi even during closed hours or outdoors. Also, I'd love more gaming content! I love Trent the Traveler's gaming stuff, and Ryan Twomey's! I strongly recommend Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter Rise on the Switch, I'd love to see that content! Also, if you're ever in NW Indiana or SW Michigan, I'd love to take you to do some Steelhead or Rainbow Trout and Skimania fishing at Trail Creek in Michigan City! Also, check out 10-56 Brewing as a Harvest Host, they're amazing, have great food, love dogs, and it's close to me!
