Rough Time & Having Hope

I've been living with bone marrow cancer for a *very* long time. (I've felt horrible for over a decade already...my cancer won't "pass" or get better....but I'm still here! That's the important thing!)... And I don't feel like we should be comparing ourselves to each other. Everyone's situation is *so* different. As a matter of fact, my sister was told a couple of months ago that she had an aggressive form of breast cancer. She had a double mastectomy about a month ago, and she's waiting to see an oncologist to see what the next steps are. (It had spread to a lymph node...so I'm assuming that she's going to need chemo and possibly radiation...) And our situations are *SO* different. My cancer is non aggressive...it kills you very slowly...and I'm hoping with treatment, my sister's will be beaten. I've *never* felt like Tiffany is "bragging" or anything of the sort. She's *so* young to have gone through such a traumatic experience, and now she deserves to live her best life! I haven't been able to travel in almost 40 years (I was very young last time I got to go away), so I enjoy living vicariously through other people. Sometimes I get sad, but cancer is a roll of the dice a lot of time. My sister and I don't smoke or anything else that puts us in a high risk category...but still...here we are. Just enjoy your life. Don't take it for granted. If you can avoid it - please don't partake in high risk activities. Cancer is terrible. The pain is unbearable and it saps you of *all* of your energy. Please take care and don't be jealous of anyone. That just steals your own joy...not theirs. ❤❤❤❤❤

Hi Tiff, just wanted to tell you that I almost passed September last year, I was laying in hospital bed almost ready to go see my dead father. I had a lot of difficult treatment due to medicine toxication but I made it. They had to get and sort out toxicated red cells and leave healthy ones and that aint funny. The doctor told me, not everyone could have made it, but you did, strong girl. Then he started to cry, i think out of such relief that I'm gonna be okay. Now I am back, maybe as an angel ❤

Every day is a gift. I definitely realize this now since being diagnosed with colon cancer. I had surgery on May 16th and yesterday had my follow up with surgeon. My cancer is stage 2 so will see oncologist to see if chemo is needed.

Tiffany - Try to use only natural and safe cleanser. You don't need to expose yourself to harmful chemicals and also it helps protect the environment. 💙

I’m in bed and have COVID for the first time, so I’m happy to see a new video pop up to keep me company for a while! 💙💙💙

TIffany, while one should be cautious, try not to get so caught up in a fear that everyone is out to cause you harm. That gentlemen that stopped you had your safety and wellbeing in mind. That was so kind of him and proof that people still care about one another more than not. 💚

Tiffany, I also like waking up early, especially on days when I have a lot scheduled. I don't like to have to rush getting ready, it makes me feel so stressed out to rush! When I get up early I can take my time, and when I'm ready to leave I'm in a more relaxed state of mind. I'm so happy your HRT patches are working well for you! I'm in menopause, so I know just how uncomfortable those hot flashes are! Not fun at all. I also get very excited about the small things. I haven't had an easy life, in fact it's been extremely difficult, with a lot of heartbreak. I think when you've experienced so much misfortune, it makes you so thankful for the small mercies and pleasures in life. I'm looking forward to the next Tea With Tiffany! ❤

Tiffany… I go back to your old videos and watch them again just to watch the change in you!! I keep hoping for things to change for the better. Ever since my fiance passed away and I had to move out of his home .so I rented a small place closer to the hospital I have worked at for 9 yrs. There have been so many “downs” and hoping for the “ups”! I had to have emergency surgery on my back and have had to recuperate o rr the last few months. My problem that I haven’t even said outloud is that I am now homeless 😢😢 They are going to move me from the nursing home I have been at and put me in a homeless shelter. You can’t stay there during the day tho. So I don’t know what to do. I need to be able to get a new job but need a place to live still. Have been looking for something I can afford for weeks. So I’m keeping my Faith and Hope ❤❤❤❤ I’m keeping Faith and Hope for God to watch over both of us 😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I started getting heat rash after chemotherapy and still get it,i usually put calamine lotion on the rash,it stops the itching, this lotion is used for the chicken pox itch.

Tiffany, Did you have to sign a waiver form about the risk of cancer from HRT treatment? I recently got estrogen from my doctor and had to sign a form warning me. Just curious:

You remind me of my youngest daughter, Tiffany. She's brown, like you, and has beautiful, long black hair, just like you. We don't have a relationship, though, for reasons I can't go into, but we used to be close like you and your mommy are. I really miss her. Thank you for being so honoring and respectful to your mom. If you put air in the tire and it goes low again, then you'll know that there's a hole and you'll need to replace it. Here in the US, they won't replace one tire - they'll make you replace both the fronts or both the backs. I don't know how it works there. But here's a tip: you can get a portable machine that connects to one of your car's power ports and will put air in your tires. My dad has one and it is VERY useful.

Bar keepers friend works well for stainless sinks. I use it on all my stainless steel appliances. Im not sure if its sold in the UK.

Your messages are always appreciated. Even the reminder to drink water. I am terrible with drinking water each day. But when you mention we need to drink water each day I feel like you are talking directly to me. So thank you even for the little things that you talk about.

Maybe you didn't like the yogurt cause it was Fat Free, sometimes the taste is off then. I put bleach in my sink and let it sit for a bit and it comes sparkling clean. I think you use teflon pans, i would look into using other pans that are healthier for you they are known to cause cancer, i used them for years but no longer do. Your looking fabulous and just be as happy as you can be your an inspiration to many people.

Everyday is a gift, sometimes it is hard to remember that when your going through a tough time in life. I’m trying to work on that. To not complain about my struggles yes I have some health issues but nothing life threading now, so I try to remember that, no don’t know if they will be or if il get some horrible like cancer all we can do is live each day one by one nothing else is promised in this life. I'm the same as you Tiffany, I hate anything going wrong with the car, I always manage, but not without a LOT of stress. I have a great local garage, I've been going there for years and never feel ripped off.

Bar Keepers Friend here in America is a great non-abrasive cleaner for stainless steel sinks and etc. Doesn't scratch and you can also use it on porcelain. Hopefully they have it in the UK. Or a magic eraser works great on stainless steel as well. Good luck! As always hugs and prayers!!!!💙💙💙🙏🙏🙏💙💙💙

When I wash my sink, I use a squeeze lemon water with a little bit of soap that combination is also good to put in stainless steel pots and just soak overnight or anything. Just leave it there and use it the next day to wash down counters. It’s a natural ingredients and it works very well.

Tiffany, I just went through an emergency gall bladder removal surgery, and had complications. I thought about how much you went through and I don’t know how you did it. I got home last night and frustrated because it should have been simple but was drawn out. But listening to the video helps.
