Mink oil will rot & weaken where the stitches are. Bees wax is the way . Will snow and water proof and seal the stitches and seems

That's only true for Organic stitching like cotton, synthetic fibers like Nylon which are commonly used in boot stitching are not affected by Mink oil in the same way. That being said Bees wax is a great option, just not a very accessible option for most.

Yup, that's horrible. But, it's a cheap boot, so throw it away and buy a real boot and condition it with something proper.

Oh. My. God. Never use mink oil on any leather you care about. There are so many good products you can use that won't ruin the leather like mink oil. But, I won't buy cheap boots like Red Wings either. Come on over to the PNW boot darkside, folks. You'll never turn back.

@@scottulrich2725 why are you watching "cheap" brand like red wing for a tutorial if you have expensive boots,call the manufacturer of your boots and ask them.Seems like you dont know much of anything to me lol
