The round ligament can get tight and cause pain that presents in the low abdomen, at the pubic bone, and sometimes down to the genital area. As long as you do not have an IUD, you can fully stretch the round ligament. If you do have an IUD, seek guidance from a pelvic health occupational therapist or physical therapist on how much of this you can do. Do not do this if you have not been given this as a stretch by a pelvic health therapist.
