How to fly around the world, in Business Class, with the OneWorld Award using Frequent Flyer points. How many points do you need, how do you book, plus tips for earning points in today's vlog.
I'm flying from Melbourne to Brisbane with Qantas on a Boeing 737 as part of a multi-stop OneWorld Award booking. Today I discuss how we booked our trip using the One World Award, how many points it cost, and take you on the first leg of our multi-stop global flight.

I recently was on holiday and booked with AirNZ using multi stop but paid cash. So I just went Auckland to Shanghai, was there for a few days then Shanghai to Munich, but on the AirNZ ticket the next leg was London to Singapore then SIngapore to Auckland. However between Munich and London I had separate flights booked within Europe. Same for Singapore as I couldn't get a connection to Bangkok, so once in Singapore I had a separate flight to Bangkok Defiantly agree with using certain cities as hubs. I'd do this again I've only down a booking where I fly to one destination and fly back from the other.

Great video, I just have gotten into the credit card sign ups and so far have booked international Singapore airlines from Brisbane to Hong Kong (business), we have a stop over in SYD :( and then back for free on economy. Haven't really looked into the OneWorld pass, so found this video useful. Have a safe trip and keep the tips and tricks coming :) #frombrizzybtw haha

Looking at a credit card for velocity to get the bonus points but am wary of the fees you could get stung by a high point earning card.

I get most of my updates from Qantas themselves. Sign up to the Airline newsletters and follow their social accounts. Also “points hacks” is a great website, otherwise I also have an “aviation” list on twitter of many aviation accounts that I follow to keep on top of news. Cheers.

Always depends on your priorities. If you want one more than the other, work as hard as you can to achieve that first then work on everything else. I hope you get to achieve your aviation goals in life though whatever they are. Good luck mate.

The QANTAS Titanium Card shown has a $1200 annual fee. You really have to add that on to the cost of the flight and unless you can get enough points in year 1 and cancel the card, you pay another $1200 in year 2 without the bonus points.

2019 yes I done it flying jfk- shanghai seoul -tokyo-kuala lumpur -Beijing-guazhou-seatle-jfk Business class for 125000 miles in 2018. 2024 , basically they want 900000 for simple business class Imagine you almost required to spend million dollars to get lousy simple ticket that cost the airline maybe 2k since they are buying this ticket in wholesale from airline. This is the stupidest thing is to chase mileage because they become useless
