Sean needs to train his horse to let him on when a cow is after him, hahaha. I love seeing the kids out there with y'all, great family bonding and lets the kids know what their fathers really do to provide for them. I love watching Eagle's ears, I always liked when a horses ears were forward, you could tell that they were really into what they were doing, and he flicks an ear to you when he needs to understand what you want. There is a true partnership between a horse, a cowboy and a good cowdog. I had one German shepard mix, Buck, that was one of the crew, he would ride in the back of the stock truck with the horses or in the back of the pickup, understood both English and Spanish, and really knew his job. One time we forgot to bring the hotshots when we were using a squeeze chute. It had long runway and without a hotshot we were having trouble moving the cattle up the runway. The boss asked me, do you think Buck could move those cattle up, I showed Buck what we wanted him to do, and he would reach through the fence and nip at the heels of the yearlings. I only had to show him one time. He would run one into the chute, and then go back and wait until the boss called for l him to bring another one. Needless to say that became his one of his assignments, he worked better than a hotshot and freed up a cowboy. I went out one morning and found my horse Sammy, and Buck playing together, taking turns chasing each other around the corral, people who don't know that animals have a sense of humor have never been around them. Someday you will be an old cowboy Sky, with only your memories to look back on, I hope you have as much enjoyment then as you have given me in remember my time.
Feller riding that calf! 😂 Done that on sheep when they refuse to go down! 🤣🤣🤣 Cow blamed Sean for the whole thing! 😄 Guy with his leg stuck UNDER the cow - I'VE done that wrestling a sheep to the ground! 🤣🤣🤣 It's like being a wrestler and while you got him HE'S got you! You and him's on your leg and you can't move! 😂😂😂 Too funny! Folks that complain - those irons get hot enough that it kills the nerve in the hide on contact, so they don't feel the burn much. They're yelling cause they're restrained and being held away from their mom!
This is a great jobs team work...I love vacas ganado vacuno..cow.i love la vida de rancho...hey guys ..senor..I have question..how much for each cow milk this cow is for milk or ganado para abasto..???????

Y'all need some Working Pens and Squeeze Chutes. And some Crossbreeding Herd Bulls. Red Angus, Beefmasters, Santa Gertrudis...... however, I am sure straight bred Horned Herefords fit that Environment and low Rainfall.
@@cew995 nah, just put a Self Catching Headgate at the end of an Alley, Vaccinate, Worm and Fly Control several at a Time. 16k is a Ripoff, IMHO Cornhole the Ranchers. Build one yourself.
Sky, you should put together a “ApacheCowboys” Bloopers video...I’m sure you have plenty of footage to use. This video was reel gooder...kind of laid back, branding cattle...good thing Sean moved quick, that cow would have gored him with the sharp horns. You guys don’t tip the horns? Otherwise, another Nizhoni vlog.😎👍 #ApacheCowboys
