An ashy christmas on route 113 Simply amazing and I love it

Ah! I have such a tale of that ash covered road from day's past to tell! Come closer and listen closely... It was a brisk and cold winter in Hoenn, but it wasn't snow that covered the region surrounding Mt Chimney but rather the leftover ash from its near last eruption. And no route felt it the most than the route that was blanked in the grey matter. Among the piles of ash was a lone Trainer trying to trek through to the town west of the route. His clothing and some of his skin was covered within a blanket of grey ash and it all felt cold to the touch. But he wasn't alone, for his shivering and exhausted Flygon partner struggled alongside him. The weight was slowly beginning to be too much for both of them to handle and so when they caught the sight of a hut in the middle of the blanket they trekked towards it to shake off their weight. As they reached the hut and started to shake off a lone man popped out through the front door and noticed the duo. 'Oh! I didn't expect to get visitors on such a cold evening!' remarked the hut owner 'I can tell you two are not from Hoenn... You don't mind me asking your names, would you?' he quietly asked to which the Trainer tipped his hat forwards and said plainly ' The name's Quoki and this is my trusted steed Rugmand'. pointing to the Flygon 'We came from a faraway region to the north in hue of the recent events that have transpired here'. he added. 'Oh! Do you mean the near eruption of Mt Chimney?' the owner questioned 'But how about I explain after getting you two back on your feet?'. he added to which the duo nodded to his offering to which the owner lit his fireplace in his home, and they rested by it. 'You know... While the near eruption was a scary event, it led to a small mountain of ash falling the remains at the peak coming to this route and I was overjoyed.' the owner explained. Quoki gave out a confused look 'Why exactly?' he asked. 'It's because ash... well in my eyes are what remains of celebrating the old times. I mean where would we all be without the past to help us learn from our mistakes and to improve ourselves?' the owner explained with a somber tone 'And I wish to continue those times by practising their forms of art through collecting ash and moulding it into my own'. he added. Quoki and Rugmand wiped a small tear from their eyes and stood up 'That's very respectful of you my friend and I wish to thank you for helping us onto our feet' he said with a newfound tone. 'Oh don''t worry you two!' the owner said before giving them a yellow rug sack. 'If you want to. You can use this sack as a collector and know this... You're welcome to visit anytime.' the owner said with a smile. 'Once again thank you', your good deed will be remembered'. said Quoki as the duo walked out the front door and into the cold blanket of ash to continue their journey.

Ah, such a unique take on one of my favorite tracks. Hoenn's still my digital home away from home, and damn if this route ain't a favorite. Add in Carol of the Bells on top of it? One hell of a combo. Wonderful job!

It's December 26th and you can't stop me from listening to this because I downloaded it >:)

I'm totally bad with route names in Pokemon so I needed 5 seconds to recognize the music but than it hit me like a nostalgic train :o I mean I could totally imagine that this route could be a snowy route in winter since with all the ashes in the sky it could get colder there than in any other place from hoenn .o. amazing job Hanabi and Drazor to give this pop adventure music a more snowy feeling, I'm in love with this arrangement! So beautiful what you did here

Pokemon Sapphire was actually my first pokemon game that I played although I grew up in the 90s. I remembered this tune before reaching Fallarbor Town. I remember cycling to collect all that soot so I can make glass flutes and running into infinite number of Spinda pokemon which I didn't care to ever catch. Like others have mentioned it does have a Christmas tone and element to it especially that of the older wintry settings in a town. 2nd half is indeed noticeably different somewhat. I can see why Hanabi compared it that of Final Fantasy.
