Not the first time a Metrobus has been on the 61. In 1995 and into early 1996 after CentreWest had won large swathes of the Orpington network including the 61,a number of the Westbourne Park buses were sent on loan while they waited for their new Volvo Olympians.
I was probably seen on M6 as I was on it all day, due to me helping out by giving out leaflets to some people, if any of you saw someone drop a bunch of leaflets on the back of M6, that was me.
