I really hate when car drivers turn up their radios so that everyone around them hears their music. Two clips of an ES on the 64 were removed from the video because of the driver infront
1. Most of them are kids around 13 to 15 who prefer the old diesels & some hybrud buses such as the tridents, gemini 1s & 2s, plaxton tridents, optares olymipics, many more 2. They are trash 3. Will make a video about it on my channel. Link will sent here
I don't mind electrics like the Optare Metrodeckers or MetroCities as they're actually quite nice. The Electroliner Vision Zeros don't look that bad either. But I'd rather ride a diesel / hybrid than one of those because they're just nicer in my opinion.
All but 2 types of buses shown in this video have been withdrawn. 2018 really was such a good time to visit China. Now it's all BEVs and I while still do enjoy riding them, they're nowhere near as good as these CNG & LNG buses. If you want to ride old buses, I'd recommend going to Dalian or Beijing, they still have loads of CNG / LNGs. Beijing in particular has those amazing yellow blue and grey bendy buses, which are currently in the process of being withdrawn.
After almost a year of delays at TH, ae finally have a full ES allocation on the 64! Shame you couldn't catch a vision zero on the route. Out of interest, what video editor do you use? I like how you do your thumbnails.
Yeah it's been a long time coming. I filmed all of this yesterday so I didn't get one but I might try and catch one if they become more common in the next few weeks.
I use Openshot video editor but trust me, do not put yourself through using it! It's very slow and crashes pretty often. It also uses up a lot of memory while exporting videos although that might just be me. It is free though which is why I use it.
This bus is an Electric only. This is Wrightbus Electroliner (Formerly Wright StreetDeck Electric Bus) Bus, it's a Double-Decker Bus only not a Single-Decker Bus because this is not Wrightbus GB-Kite Electroliner (Formerly Wright GB Kite Electric Bus). This bus two decks.
I ran from my house to catch ES18 gliding off into the sunset 🌇... gorgeous. I'm so happy that they're finally replacing the e400s!!!! Electroliners forever!!! ⚡⚡⚡
@@MostlyBuses1 I think it’s because none of the other routes aren’t on their new contract yet, maybe after 24 August we could see some on other routes.
@@ms_1931nah cus 250/289 drivers aren’t type trained yet otherwise they’d appear. Only a handful of 64 drivers were type trained. I reckon an Electroliner will stray on the 250 first
Fantastic video of 64 observations So which E400s buses that are replaced by Electroliners for 64 will transfer to AR for 217? T204 and others? Other remaining LJ10’s are for 250, and only 6 did the 217. And how long as in how many years for the 217 E400s transfers will that last?
@@zeeridwanfahdpartonetoone6427 The next contract for the 217 is a one year, so theoretically Arriva could use the Ts for a bus, but I think that's unlikely. They'll probably go for some hybrids or even the ex W3 Ts.
@@MostlyBuses1 You’re right, and today has been one of the days where some LJ10’s, like LJ10HVB did do the route. T226 is back transferring to North London, but it’s no longer doing the W3 and 279. It’s also doing the 217.
@@zfs.59 You’re right. T208 is back, but it’s no longer doing W3 now. It’s doing the 217 too as I know today, including T121. Looks like my guess is almost right.
I do remember how when the 64 was won in 2016 by Arriva, it was meant to get DWs off the 59 and the BN routes but since they were off to the 48 and other routes, the 64 got the ex-341’s Ts with the 341 gaining spare DWs elsewhere
@@MostlyBuses1yeah cus the 59/137 was fully LT in 2016 and the 319 was fully HV operated so that would’ve released enough DWs for the 64 but sadly it got horrible Ts that are finally leaving now
They might not even bother with the blinds for now until the W9's tender result comes out (although the Solos are blinded, just not with the destination).
To be honest instead of withdrawing this route I think they should cut it at Woodford and make it every 20/30 minutes. Maybe even add an extra bus or something.
It's nice that Stagecoach got the 549 back before it's withdrawn. 0:47 Where is 593 coming from😅??? Also nice seeing 36037 with the proper stagecoach interior.
@@WesternTravels2024 the 593 was a temporary route that ran on the Holloway Road but it's weird since I thought GAL had it so why would it be on a HCT blind set?
Here's the news if you missed it. The 605, 605, 617 and 629 have been awarded to Metroline with existing diesels. The 605 and 605's contracts end on the 29th August 2025 and the 617 and 629's end on the 29th of August 2027.
@@Londonbusenthusiast353 GAL got them for the 192 but then RATP bought them for use on the 463. They then transferred back to GoAhead when they got the route back
I can see TFL pull the plug on the 327, adding the 491 Cocker Road then onto Innova Park they're remove Enfield Ireland and onto Brimsdown TFL come with very Clever ideas they do lol 😆 😉 🤣
@@ClassicVideos30 I think they should just add some earlier and later journeys. Maybe even add a second bus to the PVR and run it every 15/20 minutes or something
