I’m taking you on the longest journey we’ve done yet going across the U.S. hitting three states that had the most significant amount of unique abandoned buildings on Route 66 mother road. Route 66 is slowly fading and becoming a memory of what it use to represent for our transportation history of when times where tough and was once a privilege to drive. meaning not everyone was able to drive or go on long distances by car.
Come explore with me through my eyes as I take you to some interesting destinations that was a staple in the fabric of Old Route 66 culture. Old gas stations, a ghost town in the middle of nowhere and more trading post that this time I got caught in and learned there were deaths that occurred in one.
