One summer night in the Glenville section of Cleveland in 1933, teenage writer Jerry Siegel came up with the idea for what would become the world's first superhero, Superman.
The next morning, he was so excited to show his artist friend Joe Shuster that he allegedly ran the 9.5 blocks (a sixth of a mile) to Joe's apartment (10622 Kimberley Avenue to 10905 Amor Avenue).
That would have been along either Parkwood Avenue or East 105th Street; my hunch is Parkwood. This time-lapse covers that route (in late winter).
