Davante is absolutely one of the greatest, but I don't know if I'd say greatest in the league. There's a few guy's I'd pick over him but not to many. Julio, Nuk, Mike Evans, and Cheetah are the first couple to come to mind. I will also say Thomas from my Saints, but I wouldn't pick him over the other guys if I had a chance. A.J Green from TN is also a solid receiver and so it T.Y Hilton even though the Colts struggled a bit the past couple seasons.
Seeing his turnaround from that bad/injured year is just absolutely incredible. I feel blessed to be able to watch guys like Adams and Rodgers and see the amazing connection and talent between the two of them.
Man.. having watched him since he was a rookie.. all I can I say is, what a beautiful time to be alive. He is without a shadow of a doubt THE BEST in the league. Love this guy. Love this team. #GoPackGo
As a Packers fan not trying to be bias. Idk who is better. But it isnt a tie. I think D-Hop may be the best.. even though I've been saying that Tae is the best
@@mymom9741 Hop is elite with his hands, making crazy contested catches. Adams is elite with his feet, running stupid tight routes and always being open. I honestly think that Adams is better but barely. (Also not a packers fan so no team bias but I've also been running Adams in fantasy since his break-out so maybe a little biased from that idk.).
So awesome to see devante become the best in the league! He is proof that you just have to let them grow and learn and get better. Really hop Lazard and MVS are learning from him. Although i know they are because this year theyre improving as well. #gopackgo
I never gave up on Davante..watching that Dallas playoff game in 14', I knew he was gonna be special. A lot of fans wanted him cut in 15' because he was dropping so many balls. He proved the doubters wrong! #top2not2 #GoPackGO
As someone who has watched davante since his rookie year, I’m proud asf to see how great he’s become. I remember the times when packers fans wanted him gone cause of all the drops. And now he’s one of the best.
I remember when for his first few years ppl wanted to cut him cuz of his hands, now hes one of if not the best wr in the nfl!! Loved watching him grow #GoPackGo
He had high 50s and low 60s catch %s the first four years in the league, thats...not great. Even between 2019 and 2020 he improved that +10%, insane. Mid to high 70s catch% is pretty great.
@@andresanchez948 Most Packer fans gave up on him, myself included. Just goes to show people can blossom at different times in life. Coming out, he reminded me a lot of Sterling Sharpe. Strong hands, not the speed of a burner, but smart and crafty and strong runner after the catch. Just a great football player and a joy to watch him do his thing.
I have an incredible respect for Tae. He’s endured a rough start early on, but his focus on his footwork craft and belief in himself to be the best is amazing! GPG! 🧀
Nr 1 Receiver in the league right now, no 🧢 7 years in the league, always improving and always consistent since his breakout year, would love to see him and Rodger’s win the whole thing, would be well deserved !
yeah his only issues was dropping balls and was a little bit too big back then, since he fixed that dude has always been top 3-4 in the league, the best in the past 2 years
Remembering how many drops Davante used to have and how he mentions he had that mental barrier is making me think of how MVS is at that point right now, he has so much potential with his speed and agility he just had to work on that mental barrier!! 🔥🔥
Love watching this guy run. That "hop" is his signature - he seems to change direction in midair sometimes as opposed to during a plant. His control and creativity with his body is unreal. This is a new generation of the game with cut masters like Stefon Diggs, Keenan Allen, Calvin Ridley, Amari Cooper - Tae is the best of all of them. Nice interview by Charissa to put him at ease and hype him up.
Awee i miss those days! I remember Packers fans wanted him out in 2015.. I kept saying they were frickin stupid for saying that. And I didn’t regret having his back as a fan!
Damn man I love seeing the all time great QB- receiver bonds, the most important bond in all of sports, a good QB and receiver can damn near take their team to the Super Bowl.
I hope this season isn't the last we see 12 and 17 in the green and gold, but if it is, I'm just gonna enjoy the show. We won't see this again for a long, long time
As a packers fan, I remember how many people wanted him cut after his 2nd year with the Packers lol.... thank god people on Twitter weren't the GM or we would have lost out on the best WR in the league
I was definitely one of them...and you couldn't blame the folks wanting him gone. He was dropping crucial and CRITICAL passes. But I'll thank the organization for sticking with him. I'm just more so proud that he overcame that year and Aaron found his Nelson replacement because he rarely trusted anyone else with the ball other than 87
It’s a split step. You do jump to activate your muscles, when you come back down they are loaded and ready to go. When you add in his speed and lateral quickness, you get Tae getting insane separation on most plays. Great athlete.
Who else came here after finding out about his trade to Oakland? We're going to miss you more than you know in Green Bay. I understand, but I'm salty af about it 😂. Regardless of my butthurt, thank you Adams. Thank you for giving it your all in Green Bay and best of luck to you in the future.
If the Packers let Rodgers and Adams go after this season, I'm done with the NFL for life. The way Green Bay handled Favre and now Rodgers is just horrible. People don't quit their job, they quit on their managers. Packers management needs a lesson in how to treat human beings as human beings.
That’s literally what i was thinking about lol no 16,34,25,8,24 but charles woodson went to the packers and won a superbowl and davante adams is gonna win one with the raiders now to return the favor
This gives me chills. I remember i used to call him Butterfingers because he would not hold on to the balls. The growth that he has had, is everything to me!! So gglad he belongs to my PACK! And if he ever leaves, I will support him 100%
