Nice lesson, thanks a lot. In a worship live streaming, could I route main L&R to usb1, usb2 and release aux 5,6 for in-ear monitor for the praise team ?

I have not used a DL1608 but from memory, I believe it has limited features. However if you have Master Fader 5, there may be a few options available for you. I will try and look into it when I get some time.

Hi Friend I have done some research for you and can confirm that the DL1608 does not have the same routing options. This is because the DL1608 does not have a "USB out" feature. I believe the only routing options available to the 1608 are limited to when you dock an ipad. It appears you can only send channels out to the Ipad and that's about it. Unfortunately, the limitation is hardware related, so a software update from Mackie will not give you all the options you have seen on the DL' S & R models. Hope this helps buddy!

For headphones, they take their feed from the main left and right. I take it, you want to be able to listen to the aux channels, or maybe just a sub group etc, through your headphones?

The best way I can think of, is the plug into one of the aux channels, then go to the "output" tab in the routing and use that to listen into any individual channel, mic pre (pre or post DSP, and even sub groups, aux's and usb. It's non intrusive and lets you listen in on anything individual. The draw backs are that you need to have a free aux channel, can't listen in on solo'd channel's and can't listen to a selected group of items that are outside your already grouped channels.
