I remember reading somewhere that “thou”, “thee”, etc, are actually informal, so when he says “thoust worms” it’s basically “y’all’re worms” and that makes it like 20 times funnier
We can also say that he is all talk, but in the actual game, he is just useless. Just like a real rules card. And the stripes on his clothes are just rules written on him.

That little, "How is he, anyhow?" when talking about Lancer just hits me like I'm a little baby. I know it's simple story telling, but damn it, it hits an emotional place for me. Good shit, Mr. Fox.
But Mettaton has a tragic backstory! Unless you are refering to a throne of ancient english fans, then he is the king. Really, english is not my mother tongue, and I suffered a lot trying to decipher what he was saying!
If the whole game was supposed to be an undertale parody he is,but as it is he is just a joke could laugh actually if they didnt put that actually epic sounding music when he is present.
@@kingchickenwing4887 a MS DOS game called I.M. MEEN. Basically rouxls says at some point (I think if you talk to him in one of his puzzles) "LOST? CONFUSED? FRIGHTENED? GOOD! AHAHAHAHAHA" which is a direct quote from the game.

The agonizing gasps during the “…” are hilarious and shows so much character! The voice is so fitting and makes his dialogue much more entertaining. Great work 👍
Great voice acting my guy! Thou can maketh thou voice soundeth like a regular voice and sexy at times liketh during thy shop with thy music. And would probablyeth imagineth this in game too. But I don't know if its the best option or necessary but could thou experiment with making thou voice sound smoother like how thou would think of mettaton but whilst keeping the same attitude as thou rouxls kaard. ( *I'm sorry i was really bored.* )
Wow, I gotta commend you for how awesome your voice acting for Kard is! Not only do you nail the pronunciation of his "Olde-English" vocabulary, but you also ave great phrasing and emotion when delivering his lines: shifting from a confident and couragious puzzle master to, well...an utter coward. It's perfect! Plus the little sighs/gasps of shock during those long pauses were genius! I'm looking forward to hearing what else your talented tongue can produce!
