I really don't understand why people get so upset at someone buying what they want...I am a jet guy, and cloning and rebranding is a common thing in the airplane world...if I want an f86 jet, do I have to pay 3000 for it from bvm or can I buy another vendors version for 900 and maybe mod a few things to make it the way I want...if you own a losi or hpi why do you care what someone else buys..I have a Baja and I have broken many parts on it stripped many things just from normal track days.. I just bought a rovan Baja just for the hell of it since the warehouse is by my house and I couldn't be happier...5 days at the track and 10 tanks at the park and nothing has broken or stripped yet..I got there newest buggy, front aluminum braces, extra body, full set of on road wheels and tires and some other parts for 530$ cash...can't beat that..my car works, and I have fun with it, nothing else matters
+epichomefitness its not about getting upset because ppl buy what they want, its because ppl buy something that isnt worth the box it comes in. every part of it cheap and easily breakable. they use cheap plastic, cheap motors, and the entire truck is just overall cheap. yes you havent broken yours at a track, but not much abuse is done just driving around a track. if you bash with these, which is what 75% of the rc world does, youll get one full tank and itll be shelved, maybe 2 tanks if your lucky. rovan is just a scam artist who steals other companies designs to make a profit off of. he sells you crap products, has 100% crap customer service, and all hes doing is hurting the rc world and community as a whole. if you want to support that then thats your deal

+Brandon Jones I race mine guy, and smoke hpi 26cc hard and blow past a $1300 losi with its little 23cc. why do you guys get so butt hurt? I bet you don't even know that km isn't the clone look up who bought what when and look at the stock hpi and maybe 7-8 years ago they were cheaper made and still not all parts are bullet proof but an hpi will break in the same places. New upper plates on them , they fixed thier clutches and thier engines have more power than any other stock 1/5. yes a 4×4 losi probably handles better than my 2wd baja so you might beat me on a tight coarse but only because of 4×4 . I have fun with my car you can go cry some more like a girl about a car you don't own or really know much at all about. Your igonance really shows though on 1/5 rcs if you did anything with racing them how wrong you are. Now rovan has a shaft drive 4×4 1/5 buggy compatible with all losi parts and they bought the design of of rmck 1000 slap a obr engine in it aftermarket shocks and servos and all that is the price of a losi 23cc slow as crap stock . stop hating guy or do some research....
These people saying HPI, King Motor, and Rovan vehicles are all manufactured in the same factory need to stop. There's been an article about this and no, they are not made in the same factory. Nonetheless, many people say that the quality of King Motor and Rovan has improved significantly over the last few years. I'm currently deciding between the HPI Baja and the King Motor Baja, and I'll tell you what, chances are I'm going to be going for the King Motor. It's such a pain in the ass for me to get the HPI due to the fucking outrageous shipping prices, and although I DO afford the HPI, I feel that it still costs too much for what it is. You can rest assured that a King Motor will never cost you as much as an HPI, even if you were to bash it like hell and replace all of its parts. I'm not sure I want a $1000 RC car which I'll probably end up driving meticulously to make sure I do not break anything. I'd probably be better off with a $400 King Motor knowing I can send it to hell and back, then replace the parts for cheap. And to top this all of, I recently made a forum post where I asked which I should get, and there were multiple people who agreed I should get either a Rovan or King Motor since it's recently been a downward spiral for HPI, especially since they've been acquired. Parts are still hard to get apparently, and their support is not good. I am only telling you this based on what I've heard. Just my personal opinion, feel free to reply. I'd like to hear what others think about this.

What had you change in it? I would race it, but in my area its all melting now... Mud... A lot of mud... It will destroy our track like there was none.
All I did was a tuned pipe and shock oil and camber reposition the upper turnbuckles in the rear for a little bit of a softer feel . But I did this at the track. I did the same thing with 1/5scale buggy to .but it's all up to you and your driving style . The mud that's not good it will definitely destroy your truck for shure . I was using cargo company which has office in US and in my country. Bought it through internet and used cargo company's address as my delivery address. Company got it delivered to me in 7 days. Cargo company also has customs clearense service which was paid per each killogram of freight. in my case I paid 220 US for delivery and customs clearense. No Customs tax paid as cargo company sort it out. Meest Express was my cargo company.
+ViceVersa Musik Yes. However there is some insignificant differences. I found one at least. I couldn't fit Losi front lower arms into Rovan diff case. But since i was changing it for losi diff case as well - it didn't matter.

саша рябков Классная тачка. К сожалению не готова ехать на трек прямо из коробки. Сразу после покупки - полная переборка, протяжка, смазка. Можно не разбирать только мотор - к мотору претензий ноль. Если нету личного опыта с бензиновыми моделями или того кто может посидеть с вами и подсказать - лучше взять Лоси 5. В плане долгосрочного владения разници никакой нету. Поломок нету. Тюнинг нужен такой же как и Лоси 5.

Linh O As if they are. The plastics are cheap and prone to breaking, particularly if you live in a cold climate. I haven't had to replace any suspension, diff or chassis parts on my LOSI 5ive.
