A big K , like mine ! My 2000 Cowley built Connoseur has done 230000 km now . Still runs smooth as Teflon ! The secret ? Weekley check the coolantlevellllllllllll ! Doing so I discovered dried out hoses BEFORE they could harm my big K ...... Same time I check the drainhose at the bottom of the firewall , keeps the ECU alive . Greetings from Holland .
Real wood dashboard, you’re so lucky, my late 2002 connoisseur 1.8 Turbo has the plastic dashboard that has sadly now cracked, my Rover has the Blaupunkt CD32 stereo which was a cost option, spare wheel and tool kit which was extra too by the time mine was built. I’ve never seen one yet that hasn’t had the taillight gaskets fail and a boot full of water, thankfully an easy fix if caught in time.
Looks in bloody good nick. But 1.8 engines as you know don't have enough water in them and blow the head gaskets, while the 2L and 2.5L are bullet proof. Don't understand why Rover 75s go so cheap nowadays but yours is a future classic.
What made you buy those cream floor mats ? ... There are already enough different colours going on in that interior without you adding something else !!
