I might some day, but every time you change the filtration it changes the carb settings so that will have to wait until im running a dyno mule not a clients engine
@@PenguinMotors I always was under the assumption the p6 box was pretty restrictive.. on another note the SU carbs with external floats I don't think are very good either
this is why i put a stype 4.2 in my rr chassis, 290bhp straight out of the [cheap scrapyard] box, + 17mpg if you drive like a fanny but the original 1975 [stromberged] 126bhp v8, 11mpg, is still in the corner, just in case.... + when i can afford [ha ha] uprated axles, i can chuck the supercharger on... keep up the excellent work
before the filter swap i had already fitted different needles as it was lean, for the filter the test i didnt change needles, but i did have to richen it up a bit.
not really, it was about right for the era, to put it into perspective, 3.0 ford v6 made 138bhp. Triumph stag 3.0 v8 was 145bhp, low compression rover v8 as fitted to MGB and Range Rover were only 135bhp.
