CarlTheCoolGuy In both cases Hammond was in a controlled track environment. Rowan was just being reckless on public roads. Even the most skilled racers have accidents on track. Disregard for public safety because you have a fast car and expendable wealth is much different. Regardless I don’t care that much Mr. Bean still funny just not the best driver.

@@alexcumin1479 Rowan Atkinson is in the strange position that he is massively famous around the world, but mostly for a single role, in which he barely spoke. So I am not surprised that a lot of people think of him as no-more than the actor from Mr.Bean. But people from the UK know him from so many more productions, the association isn't the same. Mr.Bean was a great show, because it worked without spoken language. That's why it has become so popular all over the world. But a show like Blackadder or 'The Thin Blue Line' which I would argue are as equally as good, don't translate nearly as well, especially to those who have never lived in the UK.

You may want to hear a brief talk he gave on free speech. Can't post link but just search RU-vid for "Rowan Atkinson freedom of speech" It's pretty good. Atkinson is quite intelligent and thoughtful.

@@InfiniteDarkMass I think he means that idiom "Everyone is in the same boat" in this case makes sense already without any ambiguity/double meaning, if you replace word "boat" with "car", as then it is just direct expression of what Mr. Bean wanted to tell (that he and other drivers are racing, indeed, in the same car). That is the reason, why it is less clear when you use "boat" instead, as he is not actually talking about them. Nevertheless, there could have been used even more efficient variant of this sentence, by combining usage of word "car" in the mentioned idiom, with reorganization of second part of the sentence - replacing "the car" with just reference pronoun "it".. "Everyone is in the same car, no use in complaining about it." Then it gives as much information, in shorter and more effectively organized sentence. P.S. I'm high, sorry for any possible mistakes

@@rekreator9481 Sorry, I disagree. The first part of the sentence means that everybody face the same difficulties, ie no-one has an advantage because they are all driving the same car, the second part means that any problems he is having are his problems, not the fault of the car.

It works better if you use google earth, the stig is also driving a Mercedes sls AMG Black series around 2013 the stig lapped a similar maybe the same white sls amg black series.
