Absolutely mate. Clearly know each other and he’s clearly wanting to have a laugh. Obviously a character that’s not backwards about coming forwards but it’s another cracking episode and you can tell there’s a lot more than what meets the eye. Yet more great work gents!
Absolutely awful first 10 minutes - I would have turned it off if I wasn't interested in what he had to say about Colchester. Glad I stuck around though- I guess just nervous for the first 10 minutes and tried to show off.
If you're reading the comments before watching you can see people are clearly put off by the first 2 minutes. But don't judge so quickly, if you carry on with the podcast it chills out an awful lot and is actually really good. The guy has actually had an awful lot happen to him both on and off the pitch.
Good episode 👏 👌 🙌 👍 . People saying he's a plank with his attitude but its just hiding vulnerability . When he mentions his absent dad , he tries to laugh it off but his mood changes
Hiding your vulnerability behind being a tool is his problem , you can't act like a **** on one hand and then play the vulnerable card , most of us are vulnerable with things in our lives, but luckily not every is like this guy , he is an absolute bullshitter , so unlikeable
Absolute gold this is! Raw as hell and hilarious! Reminds me of footballs version of Billy Joe Saunders for some reason... Top bins again lads, can’t wait for part 2!
@@liamhurley9780 Vine was at Colchester and Luton. At best it’s a half truth. Vine was saying it how he was 17/18 and squaring off at him - timeline doesn’t add up, he’d be older than that and would have had to been in pre season if he wasn’t with reserves. Not buying it personally, to me just sounds like he’s trying to look big time
I watched 10 mins and thought I can’t stand this bellend.. I stayed tuned in cause people said he calms down.. and to be fair he does it’s worth a listen , remember him at Luton, decent player on his day
Don’t understand the negative reviews one bit. Watched this 4 times this week! Absolute blinder! First few minutes are comedy gold. What a lad. Bet he’s class have a beer with. This episode is up there with the best ones on here... Tank, Norm, Andy Johnson, tag, deano, stealy, Si Ferry and Mark Bircham.
Mick Critchell. Was a total legend at Harriet Costello School Mick looked after the players that shined.. Put them on the right road.. My brother Paul was a good player and played for Hants.. Trials with Chelsea injury was his down fall.. Mick was linked with pompey and always gave his all....
I've met loads of tw@ts in the local the bellends either learn a lesson or we never see them again , you don't want to be doing cheeky lines with this guy about , with him I the group you will all be searched
There's a lot of bravado on show here. He's probably OK really but he does himself no favours with how he comes across. Less loveable rogue, more irritating wannabe bad boy. Still, it's Undr the Cosh and it's always good. The "Be Here Now" of the Undr the Cosh cannon.
He is a wind up merchant bringing the on the tools humour to the podcast. Obviously had a bit of livener. I don't mind him, very funny at times, obviously a bit lost and loanly as a youngster, I can relate.
The hate on this is a bit unneccessary. Quite clearly a lost soul but if he had no personality or told the same old tired stories people would still be frothing at the mouth. Was alot about him at Pompey as a youngster and always wondered why he wasn't really given a crack!!
What a terrible start, he tried too hard at that start. You can tell he actually wanted to share stories and the hard man ‘act’ is just to protect him after he’s been hurt a few times. Looking forward to part 2 it’s nice to hear the stories from the Maverick players.
